Some people would say that to kill someone is never a 'good' or a 'right' choice. But I think in that situation, even though it hurts someone else, the right thing to do is to do everything that you can to protect the people that you love. And even if two enemies are fighting each other with that goal in mind, that just makes it possible to respect the other person. They're both doing what's right. One person was just stronger than the other.
