■■□□□□□□□		Allen ♦♥Katara likes Allen; he's polite and caring and interesting, and he gives her a good solid 'I will try to do the right thing' feeling. She doesn't know much about him and his world, but she does know that he went with them to help Nami even though he didn't know her, and that trouble of some sort followed him here from his world and that he wanted to deal with it alone. She can tell that he's carrying a lot of responsibilities connected to his position and her heart goes out to him.

■■■□□□□□□□		Caesar Silverberg ◊♦♦♥Caesar was one of the first people she met upon coming to Luceti, and he was not only informative and helpful, but he listened to her and took her opinions seriously. He also demonstrated that he wants to use his abilities to help people - a major plus in Katara's book. There are a lot of things about his world and his 'name' that she doesn't understand, and sometimes the neutrality which he views situations annoys her, but Katara still likes and cares about him.
■■■■■■■□□□		Chopper ♦...he's a talking reindeer. Coming from a culture that hunts and eats reindeer, this was a huge 'Bwah' moment. After finding out that he was a skilled doctor, fighter, and a pirate, Katara has been able to set aside the 'You're talking meat' issue. They have helped each other heal people who are precious to them on numerous occasions, and after their adventure during the draft where Chopper turned into a huge monster and Katara had to drown him... there is a bond of trust between them that Katara quite values.
■■■■■■■■■■		Ginko ♦♦♦♦♦Ginko has earned a unique place of trust with Katara, and despite Luceti and Ginko's own nature, she holds him very close to her heart. He is one of her most valued people here. Intensive CR essay here
■■■■■■□□□□		Hitsugaya ♦♦◊Hitsugaya is an odd case - he looks a little younger than her, but he talks like he's older. He's so serious, it makes her raise an eyebrow, and he's clearly powerful and coming from a war-torn world like hers... she likes him, even though he can be rude, but doesn't know quite what to do with him. Now that he's demonstrated just how powerful he is, and even taken the extra measure of showing her his dragon... she still doesn't know quite what to do with him. But she is impressed by him, and respects the amount of trust he's demonstrated to her.
■■■□□□□□□□		Monkey D. Luffy ♦Katara doesn't know Luffy well, but everything she does know about him, she likes. She liked the way that he handled Kefka - even if it was a little scary - liked the way that he listened to her when she spoke with him after - liked that he put his all behind it to rescue Nami. She likes his crew, and she loved the fact that he found a way to practice with her with water. He doesn't seem like exactly the brightest guy in the world, but it seems like what he does do works and that's good enough for her. His enjoyment of life is something that reminds her of Aang, and she likes being around him because of it.
■■■■■■■■■□		Nami ♦♦♦♦ Nami is awesome - she's a pirate thief, a brave and courageous older girl who's suffered so much even just at Luceti and still smiles and cares about other people. Not to mention that she's kickass with her weather-weapon and has been teaching Katara how to use a bo, and took her on her very first intensive shopping spree ever. ■■□□□□□□□□		Raine Sage ♦Katara has spoken with Raine one-on-one a few times, and despite her usual rocky beginning with authority figures, Katara has a great deal of respect for the professor. She's made it this long in Luceti without losing heart, and that's something Katara finds admirable. More than that, she helped to heal Sokka after their fight with Aku, and that's something Katara will always be grateful for. Now that Katara's enrolled in school, she also appreciates Raine for making the whole process as painless as possible.
■■■□□□□□□□		Rydia ♦One of the first people Katara has met in Luceti, Rydia claims to have 'known her before.' Katara empathizes with how weird this must be due to being out of step with most of her friends from home, but has no memory of the other girl at all. Rydia responded to Katara's request for information about the kidnappings, and the two of them had a pleasant conversation at the hot springs... and with the death of one of Rydia's friends, Katara is having a chance to see the depth of strength that Rydia possesses. They still aren't very close, but Katara admires her a good deal.
■■■■■■■■□□		Sanji ♦♦♦♦ Katara's friendship with this pirate chef is not something of a level that she ever saw coming - it's been through the fires of misunderstanding and crossed purposes, through Sanji turning into a child and later someone who is not very much himself.
