[Stirring awake, the first thing she notices is that it's cold -- and it's not cold in the fire nation. Glancing up and around there are snowflakes all around her... and no one in her group.] Aang? Sokka? Toph?

Where are my clothes? [Shuddering, she rubs her arms together.]

[Time to get a little louder now, stomping around, and where is the fire and why is she in a forest?] Toph? Aang? Sokka!? This isn't funny!

Ow! What? What is this? [The sound of turning pages. She'll close it and start looking around in a minute for some shelter and her friends, not necessarily in that order. This Southern Watertribe girl is not about to get frostbite in some strange forest just because she woke up in weird clothes with no shoes.]

Hey! You must be new as well. The journal's a method of communication; nifty little thing, huh?

[That would be when she drops the book.] Gaaah! It's talking!

No! Uh, I mean, sure it's talking, but that's because I'm speaking through it. We all have journals.

[Here's some yelling in the background:] Hey! Toph! Get over here!

[She has found a stick and is poking the book with it to make sure it's not... some sort of weird... thing.] ...You're talking through a book? ...So you're not the book.

That's right, the same as how you're talking to me with yours. Nope, I'm Tormod.

Sokka! Toph?! [Picks up the book] Is it really you?

[OK, maybe the book's not talking.] Oh. OK. Um.. hi. I guess. Where are we?

It's a little boggling at first, but nothing you can't overcome. This is Luceti. What's your name?

As a matter of fact... [Longer pause than necessary] yes. Yes it is.

[And aside] Hey, Toph, it's Katara!

Well, yeah. I can hear that. Hey, Katara! Where are you?

I'm Katara. [shudder] Is Luceti the name of the forest?

Nice to meet you, Katara! I'm not sure if the forest has a name. This entire place is called Luceti from what I hear, which is basically a world of its own.

[They sound all right! This is good news!] I'm -- in a forest? It's snowing and... I don't really see anything besides trees. Where are you guys? Is Aang with you?

Don't worry, sis. Toph and I will get you out of there, no problem. We're practically old pros at this by now.

...World of it's own? [Starting to doubt the voice from the journal's reliability now, but getting out of the cold is more important.] So there's another place beside the forest?

Pretty much. Actually, Aang's the only one we're missing right now. We have Sparky, though. We got here about two months ago.

Unbelievable, isn't it? Well, there's a forest near the village, which is probably the one you're in. I woke up in the mountains, myself.

What are you talking about? I just got here, but I wasn't missing you! When I went to bed, we were all together. And where's 'here?'

Hey! One question at a time, already! First off, let me sum up... actually, there's too much. We should get you out of the snow first. Any idea where you are? Do you see the village?

...Right. So where's this village?

Good question. I arrived a couple hours ago. I don't know the forest at all. But I can always go in and try to find you, if you need me to.

Hey, if not, there's a nice river you can follow.

[Well, she can hear the lecture now, but it's not as if she can't take care of herself. And hey, if this guy's lost he probably needs to get to this village too!] That would be great! Two is better than one, right?
