[For no very specific reason at all, Katara is happy this late afternoon. The air is getting colder, and the very fact that it's nipping at her face is enough to make her smile. Add to that the glorious storm of yesterday, that it is still drizzling...

It's started drizzling as she runs her errands in town, and she puts a hand up to bend an 'umbrella' above her head as she walks along. She forgets herself, though, as she comes to some large puddles in the road, and dropping her hand, stares at them for half a beat.

Well, she's already wet.

So she jumps in. Not bending at all, simply splashing about in the puddles along her way.

Feel free to catch her in this rare display of immaturity and glee - or even join her! Hopefully she won't catch a cold.

Much later, as she prepares dinner for her house, she makes a voice post.]

[~~Probably!~~ Katara's voice becomes even more full of underlying 'yey.'] Yeah, he came while you guys were camping! I keep wanting to bring him by to introduce him to you, so he can see that you're not all actually trying to kill me.

But yeah, of course I can bend snow. It's just another form of water, after all. That's what all the houses are made of in the North Pole.

[ The power of ~yey~ ] What would we try to kill you for? You haven't tried killing us.

[ Jeez Katara, you and your pirate shenanigans. ] So you must be really good at making snowmen!

Eh-heh-heh... let's just say my encounters with pirates in my world weren't exactly friendly?

[Loooooong story. You wouldn't be interested. Really.]

I've got a lot of practice, sure! But I haven't been home since I really started to learn waterbending. I just know how to make them with my hands, though I'm sure bending them couldn't be too hard to figure out.

Aaaa, why can't pirates be as great in other worlds as they are in ours...? [ It ain't fair ;A; ]

It would be awesome if you could! We could make some really great puppets that way.

Puppets? With snow? What do you mean?

You know, puppets! Like- making people out of snow and moving them around! [ Oh god, if you could see him, you'd see excited gesturing. It's been a great week for creativity. ]

[She... may be having horrible flashbacks to Hama right now. And as such, sounds more dubious than excited.] I guess I could try - I think it would be really hard to keep the snow in shape and move it around, though.

[Note: Really hard does not mean that she can't do it, or that it will even look hard when she does.]
