[If you are passing by the Southmost bridge at just the right time, you will find it hard not to notice the girl in an unusual dress and boots facedown on the ground. One shoulder is strangely disjointed, and there are bruises up and down her arms, particularly violent ones around her wrists. She looks like nothing more than a broken and discarded doll.
As the sun continues to set, the coolness in the ground will cause her to start to stir. When she sits up, she grimaces, moving as if there might be something wrong with her ribs. If you happen to be looking at her as she does, you'll notice the sickening blue and yellow bruise spread across her right collarbone, the lovely shiner on her eye.
The wonderful thing about Luceti? Sometimes there's a journal right where you need it. She barely has enough presence of mind to make sure the picture points away from her face, but her voice is very tired.]
Sokka, Aang - I'm back. [Sorry Suki, Zuko.] I'm okay.
[10 100 (thank you, Shikamaru) percent filter to Chopper, Raine]
Hey guys, if you're there - I could use a little help.
[She doesn't want her brother and Aang to see her like this.]

[Give her a minute, she hasn't exactly noticed what she's wearing yet.]
[Voice//Private]
[Voice//Private] 1/2
[And she glances down.]
[Voice//Private]
GAH!
[Voice//Private]
[Voice//Private]
If you can call it that.
[She's too tired to even rage. It's not enough that they did - what they did? They had to return her like this? It's beyond humiliating.]
[Voice//Private]
[Voice//Private]
I wouldn't have minded missing out on this.
...you mean they get stuck?
[She is momentarily horrified by this.]
[Voice//Private]
[Voice//Private]
But everyone's OK, right?
[She hasn't heard from Sokka yet. Or Aang. Or Zuko or Suki...]
[Voice//Private]
[He pauses.]
There were some scary images around town too. Like... suddenly you'd see a wall start to bleed and then blink and it would disappear. Nothing real so no one was hurt, but people may be a bit shaken up by it still.

That sounds like a dream Sokka's had.
[And... she knows you're not telling her everything, Vash. But now isn't the time and it's over now anyway, right? So.. so it's OK if she doesn't push.]

[Ow. D:]

[Voice//Private]
I know he will. And it's not that bad, really.

[Also, nodding is stupid and she is very tired and when she turns to address Michael the journal slips in her hand just a little to the side... not enough for Vash to see her face, but he might get a good view of the nasty bruising along her collarbone before she realizes her hand went down and adjusts the book to show nothing at all again a few seconds after.]
[Voice//Private]
I don't think I know Michael. A friend of yours?
[Voice//Private]
[She is not quite sure she'd call him a friend because his 'niceness' is weird, but she trusts him enough to have her back and to ask him to watch out for someone else's so - good enough.]
