[If you are passing by the Southmost bridge at just the right time, you will find it hard not to notice the girl in an unusual dress and boots facedown on the ground. One shoulder is strangely disjointed, and there are bruises up and down her arms, particularly violent ones around her wrists. She looks like nothing more than a broken and discarded doll.

As the sun continues to set, the coolness in the ground will cause her to start to stir. When she sits up, she grimaces, moving as if there might be something wrong with her ribs. If you happen to be looking at her as she does, you'll notice the sickening blue and yellow bruise spread across her right collarbone, the lovely shiner on her eye.

The wonderful thing about Luceti? Sometimes there's a journal right where you need it. She barely has enough presence of mind to make sure the picture points away from her face, but her voice is very tired.]

Sokka, Aang - I'm back. [Sorry Suki, Zuko.] I'm okay.

[She doesn't want her brother and Aang to see her like this.]

[Meanwhile...]

I'm so glad you're not blue anymore, Suki. I mean, you look great no matter what color you are! But I love you just like this. And that... but this more. [Err, where was he going with that? Ah, whatever. He'll just kiss her.]

[Suki can't help but giggle a little at his bumbling; that's part of why she loves him, after all. Even if he can't always get a compliment right. The giggle is cut short by the kiss, which suits her just fine. She doesn't even notice the sounds gone on at the door.]

[Oh, fine. He lowers her down and leans over to the door, turning the handle and pushing it open -]

Gchk! [- ...what is that overpowering smell?]

[OK, down is good. She's a little unsteady on her feet due to sheer exhaustion, but this is much less humiliating and really who knew when--]

Oh, you've got to be kidding me.

[Pfff. Katara begins to laugh, not hysterically, but with enough of an edge to cause a doctor concern. She turns - the flowers and the candles oh gawd - to press her face against Chopper's arm for a moment because she really didn't need to see that before she tries to speak through her laughter.]

Should I [Pfff - the whole floor is covered with them. What were they even--] come back later?

[Well damn. Here they are, mid-makeout... Sokka's tunic is hanging open and... yeah. Awkward abounds. But he doesn't care. Or even realize what's funny. He sits up and his eyes widen.]

Katara! You're back!

[EEP. At her voice, Suki immediately puts her hands on Sokka's chest to push him back, eyes wide and a deep blush crossing her cheeks.]

W-welcome back!

[And suddenly, he has a nose plug. Don't ask how.] She was left out by the southern bridge. I've taken care of all her injuries, but her shoulder should be tender for the next few days. Please make sure she doesn't strain it.

[He'd talk like you were actually here, Katara, but telling his patients themselves these things never seems to really work out.]

[Katara would probably care about that, Chopper, if she wasn't still laughing slightly hysterically. She'll calm down on her own, probably. Suki's blush and awkward stutter isn't helping matters, though.

She does manage to take a few steps in towards her brother, though, crushing more flower petals as she goes. Her right arm is in a sling and she's a little unsteady on her feet.]

[Sokka is too happy too be embarrassed or care about Chopper's nose plugs. She gets a quick hug, but he gives her the benefit of not squeezing too hard, because he noticed that sling. The fact she's laughing at least means it must not be as bad as it looks.]

Don't worry Chopper, we'll look out for her. [And now that the doctor is no longer relevant...] Welcome back!

[Suki heads over to greet Katara as well, though she gives herself a quick spot check to make sure her clothes are in order. It's not like they were getting all hanky-panky, but clothes slip and the last thing she wants to do is- ...oh bother, now she's blushing again. SLINKING OVER.]

Can we get you anything? Or do you want to rest?

If you have any trouble, be sure to let me or one of the doctors at the clinic know! [But it looks like she's in good hands, and there's an elated mood swirling through the air. She'll be fine. Chopper smiles, waves, and takes his leave.]

[After saying goodbye to Chopper, Katara turns back to her disheveled brother and his mussed girlfriend.] It's really good to see you both. Is everyone else okay? Did you find my stuff?

[Totally ignore the fact that she's swaying a little on her feet she's just that tired.]

[He likewise waves Chopper off, before turning his attention to Katara.]

Yeah, it's all in my room. Don't worry. [He's going to try and steady her. Already he's starting to realize... she's going to be asking where Aang and Zuko are soon.]

[Suki purses her lips; she's also very much aware of the bad news they'll have to deliver. This feels more like something the two of them ought to share- they were much closer to Aang than she ever was. So instead, she steps back.]

I'll- I'll go get it for you! [And off she scoots to Sokka's room.]

[Okay, that was weird, but... she shakes her head a little.] Thanks, Suki.

Sokka, where's-- [And that's when she realizes that she's phased and transparent again, and Sokka's hand is actually sticking INTO her shoulder.]

Ugh.

[Sokka nods at Suki and is about to go into the unhappy task of delivering the news... when he realizes his hand isn't touching anything. He immediately pulls it back.]

GAAAH! Katara! You're... you.... what just happened!?

[Sigh.]

Not all of us get made 'super strong,' Sokka.

[She'd move to step away except she's scared that if she does she'll send her foot straight into the ground like what happened with her arm - and this is stone. So Katara concentrates on standing very, very still.]

Wait... they made you...? [He shakes his head.] Yeesh. [They get points for creativity.] I guess it doesn't happen all the time.

I don't know. It didn't happen at all when I was there.

[Still standing very, very still.]

That's... weird. [He experimentally pokes his finger at her forehead.]

[A;LSKJFL;SAKFJ YOU COULD KILL HER LIKE THAT, YOU MORON!

...but Katara is too tired to think of that, so he just gets a flat look.]

Are you done?

[He pulls his finger back.]

Wow. That's definitely a new one. I bet you could walk through walls.

[She shakes her head.] If I move, I sink.
