So, we can use these things to contact everyone? That's pretty neat ~~if really really weird.~~ I think I'll start of writing, though, because talking to a book still seems like something Dock would do.

That's got to be annoying, for so many people to look at something if you just want to talk to one or two people. The guide said something about being able to filter these things? But I don't really see how that could work...

They're in the middle of a cold snap, but now that she has shoes the freezing doesn't really bother her so much. I'm afraid it's the same information you've already heard by now. The barrier doesn't seem to have any weak points. Magic bounces off, physical attacks are absorbed... [the barest hint of frustration creeps into his voice]

[Ugh, this is so not good! Just the thought of being trapped in one place for unknown reasons makes Katara twitchy. Still, there has to be something she can do. They can't be allowed to get away with this!]

Yes, a little. It still doesn't make much sense to me but it seems like the barrier is the least of our problems. We can't get out of this world just by breaking through it... and on top of that, out there there's some sort of a war.
