['sup, Luceti. Hope you're not the curious type of person, because if you are the filter on this is so thin you could sneeze and break it. Someone is singing, this early afternoon, singing a lullaby softly and into their journal. The feed will cut off before the crying starts.]
Little child, be not afraid...
[Later in the afternoon, there is an unfamiliar woman with a familiar set of blue-toned wings and waterskin at the south-most bridge. There's only so much hiding in one's room that can be done when the memories are thick and the silence is very, very loud.]

[Manly dad shrug.]
Say, can you still waterbend like this?
[Action]
[Action]
...oh, well good. I'm glad you're taking all of this so well.
[Action]
[Speeding up as she walks a little bit.]
[Action]
[He quickens his pace to catch up with her, so he can catch her by the shoulder.
It works with parents too.]I meant, it was nice to see her smile. I mean, it's not her, but... [In a way, it's close enough. It's realer than a picture or someone else's memory.]
[Action]
...then I'm glad there's still enough around to smile about.
[Action]
[Not what she meant, he knows. But that's the punchline.]

[But as they're walking, he sobers up a bit from joking around. He stops as he stares up at their home, now not so far after their walk. Although he was smiling moments ago, he goes quiet for now. He really did think of it as home, even with that stupid rock with his face on it in the front yard. Seeing his mother wasn't the hardest part. Not for him anyway. It was his dad, the person whose body he was in, that was really missing from his life in Luceti. There were other people he missed, there was no doubt about that. But ultimately he had his sister, he had his girl, but he didn't have his dad.
On the other hand, this home had electric heating and it was cold outside. Besides, he knew his mild unhappiness was nothing compared to what it must be like Katara. Especially now that he knew about their mother's sacrifice. So he had to keep that brave face for her sake.]
... we should go inside before people start getting ideas.
[Action]
Because going inside won't give them any ideas at all.
[Come on. Be distracted by the weird and wrongness.]
[Action]
Fair enough. So what do you suggest?
[Action]
Going inside. [Duh.] It's not like there's anyone around watching.
[Action]
[Whoops. He'll just head off there first, scratching his neck awkwardly.]

[Action]
What do you do Sokka?]
[Action]
This is dad! He used to give you treats on the Fire Nation ship!
[Action]
...so Katara approaches.]

[Clearly lemurs understand people.
And technically in Luceti, he really should...]
