[After having to push herself to heal and volunteering to help build the barrier with her bending, Katara is tired of not knowing for sure just how strong her bending is in this place. So sometime after the sun has gone down and the moon has risen high, she is going to quietly leave the Avatar house and travel to one of the closer lakes. She's not being overly sneaky about it, just quiet enough to be 'considerate,' if one of her housemates catches her in the act.

She'll be bringing her journal with her in case someone needs her or she needs to get a hold of someone quickly. She's still not exactly sure how this journal system works, so the chances are good that it will open on its own, and if it does all that will be heard is the sound of water moving and falling ice.

While she's there, she'll also be trying to contact the water spirit that she read about in the guide.

Pausing for a second, she stares at the half-moon] I wonder...

[Shaking herself, Katara resumes her forms.]

And I suppose you're going to explain it to me. What's your name?

[The water planet. Of course. Of course, it's also different in Katara's world.]

[Uh... yeah. Well that's - where did that come from? Katara relaxes her stance very slightly. Was this blue-haired woman crazy?]

Uh... okay... sure. I've got no problem with you. I don't even know you. You're the one who seemed to take offense to my waterbending.

Who'd take offense? [She might have a different opinion about which is the crazy one.]

So you work with water too?

You could say that.

[A sly little smile. Come to think of it, that sword she's carrying looks an awful lot like ice.]

Nice sword. Do you use that to work with it? Some of the people I've met here use things like staves and runes.

No. This sword is just my weapon.

[Which channels her dark energy, but not water.]

Your forms look interesting, too. But they're too soft. I want a harder method to attack my opponent.

[That's the first time she's ever been told that about her forms, and Katara's brows arch a little bit. Part of her wants to prove this blue-haired girl wrong... and part of her thinks that it's to her benefit to be underestimated.]

Do you have many opponents, where you come from?

[That smirk again.]

Oh, yes. And here, too.

[...Katara is starting to think that this person is a little unstable. She seems to be enjoying even the idea of a battle a little too much for her tastes.]

Really? Are you at war in your world as well, and it carried over or...

Yes. There's a war here, too. I'll defeat them quickly, here or when I go back,
