[Should you be passing by the bridge between the clinic and the Item Shop on this fine, finally-a-break-from-the-heat afternoon, you will notice that there has been a certain change in the landscape. A large wall, seemingly made out of one solid chunk of earth has appeared by the riverbank and painted white. At varying points in the day there may also be some spheres, pyramids, inverted pyramids appearing beside the wall... and that white wall is on its way to becoming multicolored.

There by the wall is a large sheet and on it rest pretty much every container of water-soluble paint found in the Item Shop, mainly strong primary colors. There are balloons and small buckets and bowls, and just about everything you could want in order to throw paint at a white wall.

Random passerby, what do you do? Continue on your way and hope not to get splashed with mud, water, or paint? Stop to wonder at this strange work of 'art?' Or if you don't mind getting your hands dirty, there does seem to be more than enough paint...]

[And Katara steps back and looks around -- definitely needs more green, so first... some more yellow at the top. And she splashes some more on the wall before catching something pink out of the corner of her eye.

[It would probably have taken Fenimore a while to absorb the explaination if it had not been for the time as Toph's little sister, where this had been accepted as normal.

So, instead, she just nods...and then pauses.] Even if I nod? [Does it work that high off the ground?]

[Toph grins.] You bet. I can pinpoint physical changes in people, too, so I can usually tell if they're lying. Earthbending's a great lie detector!

It's not a competition. Toph's making statues. I'm throwing paint at the wall. Some people have come by to help.

[She gestures to a spot on the wall] Souji did that one.

And Katara herself splatters some more paint on the wall, going to mix this red and yellow in hopes of making a nice orange.

Master Souji, really? [... actually, he totally would do this, wouldn't he.]

Ugh, pardon this sudden slowdown. i've been very terrible at keeping up with tags lately.

After a moment of intense deliberation, Temari scoops a handful of red paint and sweeps it through the blue, in long strokes.]

[Turn and- oh. A smile creeps up onto his face and then becomes more pronounced. When he saw the splash he figured it might be her, but her voice confirms it and he focuses on her with a little wave]

[Katara feels the instinctive urge to suddenly check to see if what she was wearing came horribly askew. But though she's pretty much hopelessly paint splattered and streaked at this point, she knows everything else is in place.

She waves back at him.]

[Katara laughs a little.] Not your teacher. Another Souji. A kid like us.

Toph and I are just having some fun. [She indicates to the various shapes around the wall.] Want to join us?

[He grins, and then leaps to the guard rail of the bridge before just jumping off it. He lands deftly on his feet, grinning ear to ear]

I must say, I like your new look!

Another Souji? Huh. [Maybe it's a common name.]

[She returns his smile and strikes a pose, placing one hand lightly over her heart.]

[Then she drops the unnatural posture and her grin turns mischievous.] A matching one can always be arranged. We still have some paint left.

[She bends down and picks up a dripping blue pot full of paint. Grins.] Want to throw some paint on a wall?
