[Should you be passing by the bridge between the clinic and the Item Shop on this fine, finally-a-break-from-the-heat afternoon, you will notice that there has been a certain change in the landscape. A large wall, seemingly made out of one solid chunk of earth has appeared by the riverbank and painted white. At varying points in the day there may also be some spheres, pyramids, inverted pyramids appearing beside the wall... and that white wall is on its way to becoming multicolored.

There by the wall is a large sheet and on it rest pretty much every container of water-soluble paint found in the Item Shop, mainly strong primary colors. There are balloons and small buckets and bowls, and just about everything you could want in order to throw paint at a white wall.

Random passerby, what do you do? Continue on your way and hope not to get splashed with mud, water, or paint? Stop to wonder at this strange work of 'art?' Or if you don't mind getting your hands dirty, there does seem to be more than enough paint...]

[As Fenimore makes her way her way along the path, she notices the wall, but it doesn't immediately register -- she's a little lost in thought. So she keeps walking.

Step, step, step, step...step.....step.........step..............stop.

She slows to a stop on the bridge and frowns at the wall, puzzled. That...was not here last time.]

[Hey, not-sister! Toph is having quite a bit of fun creating different shapes out of earth when she feels Fenimore approaching. She turns a around with a large grin.]

Hey, Fen! Long time no see! Pretty impressive wall, huh?

[Fenimore hesitates -- partly from seeing the earthbending that she only knows about through muddled event memories and partly from the strange emotions elicited from getting called Fen after that experiment. But, after a moment, she decides to just roll with it. She moves closer, but stays on the bridge and leans on the railing.]

...Hey, Toph. It is pretty big. I guess you're the one responsible for that?

[Keimi was wheeling her way around, just exploring the village, when she came across the wall. It was really pretty, and there were so many cool colors everywhere. Maybe... if she was quick... she could put something herself up before someone noticed. 'Scuse her while she looks around for a brush.]

[Sadly, there are no brushes, Keimi! There are pots and buckets and sponges, and waiting-to-be-filled balloons, and the sound of splashing coming from the other side of the wall. It appears that the idea involves getting messy?]

[Messy? Keimi doesn't understand this strange concept. Still, she's more than happy to take the sponge and-- hey what was that splashing noise? She'll quietly wheel herself around the wall to investigate.]

[Well, now that he's feeling better, to some measurable extent (blasted left arm still won't move...stupid Malnosso), he'll need the fresh air he missed for two whole weeks. With that in mind, he'll just walk past here to the stores and--

...What is that...that thing that's painted onto the wall.]

[The chances are good that it is a bright blue splash. Closely followed by a bright yellow splash. And then some zig-zags down the middle where the splashes meet in order to mesh it and make green. No, there is no pattern here.

...but as he watches there is a paint-speckled girl about to splash it again, this time with more red.]

[The first thing that pops into his mind when he sees her is that -- given the amount of paint she's got -- she's responsible for that splattered mess up there. The second thing that comes to mind is the obvious notion of catching her attention.

...Which he does promptly with a simple:] Hey!

[Hmm... right about now would be when Katara decides that the very top of the wall could use some color. Like the sun dripping down onto the rest of this unholy mess. So she bends up plate-sized globs of paint and launches three or four of them at the top of the wall with a grin on her face.]

No. No, that wall was not there the other day. Caesar isn't really curious about it, but he stops anyway. It was something different, at least.

...actually. It's kind of strange. And not colorful enough.]

[This random passer-by elects to stop and look over this work of art; it's not many things that have made Temari smile of late but she finds it nearly impossible to resist the impulse as she watches.

Nearly impossible. She's not actually smiling. But she'd looking a bit less tense.]

[Physically throwing the paint on the wall is so much more satisfying than bending. And she is just about to throw some yellow on top of some blue towards the bottom when she spots Temari. And gives her a smile. Don't mind the paint speckled in her hair or on her face, Katara's clearly having fun.]

[It may yet need more color. Katara is studying the display in all seeming seriousness, her paint-stained fingers leaving marks on her chin as if she is trying to decide if this particular patch of wall needs more color... or if it's just right for mixing her hands on top of it.]

[Even if Sanji wanted to escape, the wind is not on his side today - which means he's gripping that bridge like it's his last lifeline, to keep from floating freely at Mother Nature's mercy.

And what does he see while snarling obscenities under his breath but a wall!... and paint. An oddity, that, and he stares in bemusement while his legs hang high in the air]

[She's a little surprised to hear a voice--she did not feel someone nearby. What was up with that?

And someone using her name. A voice she didn't recognize. That? Was not a good thing, in her opinion.]

[...You know, he noticed it earlier in the day, but come the later-afternoon, he passes it again and now with more color on it, Masaomi in a pink hoodie stops on the bridge itself to look at the collection of paint on this wall and admire it a bit. He feels so... inspired! Is this modern art? Either way he considers it carefully]

[And Katara steps back and looks around -- definitely needs more green, so first... some more yellow at the top. And she splashes some more on the wall before catching something pink out of the corner of her eye.
