[There's a somewhat familiar voice over the journals this afternoon. The setting is clearly the forest, as there are small woodland creatures scampering about. The voice itself seems to have an almost musical lilt to it.]

Hi, everyone! I'm back. I'm sorry if I worried you. Everything seems to be in one piece, and I'm making my way back to town now! Of course, my powers are missing, but they'll be back soon enough!

[Does it seem a little odd for Katara to be casually mentioning such an obvious weakness over an open network, or to be referring to her bending as 'powers?' It gets weirder. Because eventually she'll make her way out of the forest, and you may bump into her as she'll head towards the fountain and all around town. Is she... are those sparkles? And weren't her eyes blue? Why is her hair lighter? What is going on here?]

well, actually shuri isn't pinged by that. He's too busy drinking a slushie and trying to beat the heat, eyeing the fountain and wondering if it might be a good idea to jump in to try to cool off. Stupid Luceti. ]

[At the sight of her long-lost step-cousin, Katara hurries over, her eyes darkening to sepia.]

Hello, Shuri! How are you?

[And she lays an affection and sparkling hand on his arm.]

[ WHO IS TOUCHING ME WHY- oh. It's Katara. No need for pleasantries... wait why is Katara touching me. ] Hot.

Then maybe you should take a swim!

[And, giggling, she gives him a shove towards the fountain.

...it is a weak and ineffectual, indeed, a pathetic shove, but it is a shove nonetheless.]

[ ... did katara just giggle... she must be in a better mood today!! except shoving is not okay. shuri backs up to the edge of the fountain and brushes his hands over his shirt. ]

I'd rather go to the beach.

[She pouts. Man, missing out on superstrength really bites.]

Or you could just go in the fountain.

[She's not even going to try to push him again. The power of her melanic wibbly eyes will do it for her. Possibly.]

Why would I do that?

Because it's right there!
