[There's a somewhat familiar voice over the journals this afternoon. The setting is clearly the forest, as there are small woodland creatures scampering about. The voice itself seems to have an almost musical lilt to it.]

Hi, everyone! I'm back. I'm sorry if I worried you. Everything seems to be in one piece, and I'm making my way back to town now! Of course, my powers are missing, but they'll be back soon enough!

[Does it seem a little odd for Katara to be casually mentioning such an obvious weakness over an open network, or to be referring to her bending as 'powers?' It gets weirder. Because eventually she'll make her way out of the forest, and you may bump into her as she'll head towards the fountain and all around town. Is she... are those sparkles? And weren't her eyes blue? Why is her hair lighter? What is going on here?]

Oh, Kurt! You startled me.

[Usually when he does that, she looks ready to try and kill him.]

Ahh... right, sorry.

[Her blush deepens.]

No - that's okay. I should have been paying closer attention. [She steps closer to him. For comfort.] It's just ever the Malnosso took my powers, everything seems different.

Your powers? [Well, that's kind of a normal way to put it in his world, so he doesn't think much of it.] That's pretty lame. But ahh... I'm sure they'll come back.

[He's pretty sure her eyes just changed colors... what the heck.]

[And her eyes turn violet with love.]

Well... I'm glad it makes you happy? [He feels so lost here. Clearly something is wrong with her. Maybe he should get a doctor... or a tranquilizer.]

[She giggles beguilingly and bats her limpid green emerald at him.]

[bamfing]

... did you know your eyes keep changing colors? [Seems like she should be informed, if not.]

[She stares at him vapidly.]

Of course they are, silly. Have you forgotten my curse?

I... don't think you ever mentioned a curse.

My eyes. [She glances down, ashamed.] They change color with my emotions.
