[Day one Katara explores the house And then she begins to adapt...]

Okay. Okay. So they're in some sort of strange... place. With strange things. And she apparently has a house here. Katara can... sort of deal with that. And that's good, because there's an awful lot to deal with.

She can be found:

1) At the library. Maybe there's some sort of clue in the books there... but... oh my gracious, who put this book in the middle of the library stacks? Blushing, she quickly puts the book down. Probably.

2) In the supermarket. Did you know this place is awesome? Because it is. It's awesome. It's got meat that you don't have to kill, skin, or prepare in any other way than taking it out of its really strange package. And these boxes are a m a z i n g. They've got food in them! All different kinds of things the likes of which she has never seen before. And then she gets to the soda and candy aisle...

3) By the rivers, trying to waterbend. Protip: she's not very good at it at all. But it's the first time she's ever had so much time to actually practice! Maybe she'll master that wave move...

And of course, Katara will also be wandering all about the village, and be extremely curious about anyone she meets. Don't be too surprised if you're approached by a dark-haired, blue-eyed girl who just wants to introduce herself and get to know you better. After all, it's been a long time since she's been around so many people, and she's sure you're probably fascinating.

[Be careful upon entering the second floor. There is the sound of a sneeze... follow by a boy being propelled by said sneeze from his bedroom, through the open doorway and into the far wall of the living room. It's his back that hits the wall, and he groggily slides down the the floor. He doesn't seem to be particularly injured - rather used to colliding with various surfaces - but his eyes are only half open at the moment.]

[Well. That was impossible. Katara just barely manages to dodge out of the way and--]

[He realizes he almost hit someone as he slowly pulls himself to his feet.]

S-sorry. Are you okay?

[And then he stops mid-movement when he gets a good look at her.]

[Beat was just wandering around when he noticed the water was moving weirdly. In fact, he was pretty sure that water wasn't supposed to move upstream. He stops at the bridge overlooking the riverbed and notices a girl moving her hands in time with the water.

Rather than be polite and just watch, he suddenly points and shouts.]

HOLY CRAP, I FINALLY FOUND A REAL ALIEN!

[Beat, you have gone and SPOILED her CONCENTRATION.

The water splashes back down and--]

What? An alien?!

[skaterbrain]

[Sorry, girlbro, but you were doing alien things. And that had to be pointed out.]

Whoa, you understand me? 'Sup, Alien Girl! Whatchu doin'?

[He waved from the bridge, leaning over the railing. He's found out that not all the aliens here are bad, but most of them were pretty boring. Just regular people from different places.]

[It doesn't matter if she's good at waterbending or not. Seeing how Riku has no idea what bending even is, any kind of bending's enough to grab his attention.

So yes, this would be one snarky teen watching her with wide eyes... before he tries brushing off his surprise with a cool front.]

Heh, that's a nice trick. How'd you manage to pull that off?

[Katara is actually pretty proud of herself. That managed to keep for a whole minute! Well, almost a whole minute. Definitely longer than she had a little bit ago. So she turns to see Riku a little proudly.]

It's not a trick. It's waterbending.

[Huh, kind of a fancy term, but she's got his full attention now. He needs to learn more about this, stat.]

So, what? Is it some kind of magic?

[Nephry has seen artes before, but nothing that looks quite like what that girl is doing with the water. It moves when she moves her hands, no incantation or glyph or...anything. When one large globe of water drops itself back into the river, Nephry gasps and claps, not registering whether the girl is frustrated or not.]

[Katara is, in fact, a little bit frustrated. She just can't get it to stay in a circle. Or hold it long enough or... or anything. But. Practice. She's got a lot of time now, maybe she can get better.]

Toph woke up in a place that definitely wasn't her room at the estate. In fact, nothing her felt familiar - her parents were gone, there were no guards, no Master Yu, not even anyone from the Earth Rumble Ring. What was going on?

She wanders around the house for a bit, just barely managing not to stomp around and leave footprints in the stone. Well, maybe a few footprints.

It doesn't take long at all for her to run into someone else. She stops in her tracks and points her finger in Katara's direction without turning to look at her.

"You! Where've you taken me? Do you know who I am!"

"Where have I taken you?" Katara said. "Where have you taken me?"

She couldn't help but note the footprints in the stone and the girl's odd manner of address. "Are you... are you an earthbender?"

[By this point, Kouki wasn't surprised if people find him interesting due to his headphones. Few people already thought they're his real ears, due to their unique designs. Less common than that was his blue hair, which he suspect wasn't a common hair colour in other worlds.

So when's approached by a girl near one of the stores, this young man paused and look down at the young girl.]

Can I help you?

Um.

[Wow, what's going on. It looks like he didn't even hear her. And his hair is... and what are those on his ears?]

[ If she explores the kitchen/dining room area, she will find a young girl working on pancakes. As in eating them. She's already gotten someone else to make them for her.

Her giant bird companion is also eating pancakes. Is that healthy? Who knows! But Soren's going to eat them anyway, and Ikki is, too. ]

[Something smells... unlike Katara has ever smelled before. She cautiously peers into the kitchen and her eyes widen at what she sees.]

[Daisy wanders around the rivers when she witnesses something else just as strange for this girl in this new world: Aquakinesis, even if subtle, that the fourteen-year old girl still with the massive height stared at in amazement.

There was no reason to grasp her pistol, but she still walked, puzzled, and a little cautious, towards the water, keeping her distance from the smaller Inuit girl. After a moment, Daisy mutters, still unable to believe what she was seeing.]

Are you... moving the water?

[The wave that Katara was attempting to create splashed back down. She sighed.]

Well. I'm trying to.

[And yet another Raine can tack down on the list as being younger... perhaps not significantly younger, though there's certainly something dramatic about seeing one who has blossomed into young womanhood with the fresher face of a young teen.

She was warned already by Ikki of the state of her household, but it's quite another to come across them now. She comes across Katara while putting a few signs up around the supermarket - after all, not everyone may realize just yet that it's technically a free for all in there.]

[Katara is growing more used people will odd hair and eye colors, but she still has to pause a moment in order to not gape at Raine's coloring.]

[The whole village has gone insane. Again. While that's not exactly a new and terrifying thing, Temari does try to give everyone ever a wider berth. Who knows what might happen next?

Better to stay out of the way.

Until she's too hungry to stay in her apartment. Even a ninja has to eat sometime and that's why she's picking up a few groceries.

... Maybe more than a few. No telling how long this one's gonna last.

The basket over her arm is full and she's currently debating the pros and cons of something called instant oatmeal.]

And Katara is just... standing there. Staring at all the colored cardboard boxes in the cereal aisle. Seriously, what the heck IS this place?

[ You know what's really great? Getting into everyone else's business all the time. Usopp is pretty sure that isn't just a thing he thinks. Not that that's particularly relevant, pardoning the fact that on seeing Katara put that book back down, he simply has to lean over and see what it is for himself.

That's definitely not the kind of stuff anybody should read. It's too boring. [ Yeah, that is totally the reason. Totally not trying to shield young minds that are seriously only like three years younger than him it's not like she's strictly a kid come on... uh. here.
