Day One
[Katara can hardly believe what's happening -- one minute, she was standing in a battlefield of fallen droids, as they had come for Ikki again and everyone in the house was giving them all they had -- the next she and everyone else has been shifted to the moon and her bending is gone. She's injured from her battle, and there's no doubt others have suffered similarly, but she's not able to simple heal them anymore. Fortunately she has more mundane training as well, and she is quite good at it.
First aid is administered as she listens to the spiel regarding where they are and why they are there. She never thought she'd be this grateful for the Battle Dome. After a brief consultation with Sokka and Aang, she heads over to the Battle Dome, where they are still able to have their powers. She works with whoever else is there to set up a temporary medical station, healing her own injuries from fighting the droids and prepared to do the same for anyone else who may have had similar problems. She makes plans to go and visit there for a few hours during the day, just in case something comes up. Like say, for example, a Third Party Attack. Or any amusement park related injuries.
She won't be the only one in there -- there is an oddly graceful woman with green hair that Katara seems to be friends with, her old friend from Kincorra, Willa. The dryad doesn't seem to have any interest in the rides, and is spending her free time resting.]
All the Other Days
[When she's not in the Battle Dome Emergency Medical Center she set up, Katara will be with Aang and Ikki for the most part, though she very easily gets bored waiting on line. The rides are nice, but she would rather talk to the people, learn about the different enclosures... even try to find out more from some of the Malnosso there.
Katara recognizes most of the rides in Thrill Land and is willing to wait on the lines for some of them -- she enjoys roller coasters tremendously. She is TERRIBLE at Casino Land (though she quite enjoys the buffet), refuses to enter Bubble Land (even goes on a tirade about it to one of the poor Malnosso workers), and isn't exactly sure how she feels about Cartoon Land. On the other hand, she quite likes Junior Land and is intrigued by Halloween Land. Maybe, once she feels safe enough, later on in the week, that murder mystery house will claim one other occupant... ]

Come on, Katara. Leave the poor guy alone. He's just the janitor!

"Have you been on Tyr's Legacy yet? I want to, but the line is so long."

[day 1]
Instead she turns to the business of trying to help those around her that fought off their kidnappers, in the convenient matching-ish Battledome here on the moon - something that a nearby friend is doing already. Slowly, flinching a little, it is Katara she approaches first when things finally begin to settle out of panic.]
You fought. [Of course. Who wouldn't fight?]
[day 1]
Yeah. [She gives Mia a tired, tight smile.]
I didn't know they were just inviting us up here for a field trip.
[day 1]
[Chances are, they don't care. Mia could sit and heal herself up, but her focus narrows on Katara's visible bandages and she reaches her hand out instead.]
Let me fix that.
[day 1]
[Katara moves to sit so that Mia could access her shoulder easier.]
It would have been better if they had. I guess it's just one more example of how little they care.
[day 1]
At least we aren't anywhere immediately dangerous. When I arrived I couldn't use any power at all, though.
[Now that she can, it doesn't occur to her that another time will come when she cannot.]
[day 1]
[Katara's shoulders relax a little as Mia's healing begins to work. She reaches with her free hand to the pamphlet stuck in her belt.]
It's all in the brochure. [She offers it to Mia.] We won't have access to our powers once we leave the Battle Dome.

The line was enormous, and although they'd made some progress already, there was still a ways to go until they actually reached the coaster. Still, Tyr's Legacy yielded positive reviews from the Luceti Land goers, so Aang was brimming with excitement towards riding it that mixed with impatience. At least he had Katara for company.
"Hey Katara, can you tell me more about this coaster to help pass the time? It feels like forever since the line last moved!"
He was often fidgeting in place or shaking one of his legs, because standing still in one line just felt like the most unbearable torture.

"Or the slides at Omashu! If it's even faster than those, I know it'll be worth all this wait."

[His voice is pretty much sing-song as he called for her. Which did turn a few heads given that it was on the train en route to Thrill Land but hey, you take what you can get. He's sauntering over to try to get up next to her]
