[Due to Sokka's unexpected bout of sheer win, Katara has been given the gift of free time and she plans on making the most of it... after she was shooed back to bed due to threats from Sokka that made no sense at all.

First, she wants to check in on Sanji at the Strawhat's House. Then she wants to stop by the school and see if she can register to go once things are back to 'normal.' And... she has an idea that is going to lead her to the weapons shop. Finally, she'll go grocery shopping because they're running low on easy-to-cook things. Maybe she'll even get a chance to stand by the bridge and practice with real waterbending! ...although saving her strength to keep healing Zuko is probably a better idea. She'll probably just stare at the water wistfully and talk to Sona.

If you're around any of these places today, feel free to say 'Hey!' or give her hand, since she's not exactly sure how to do what she wants to do at the smithy or the school.]

[Deep breath. This was supposed to be a nice day - the last thing that either of them needed was to rehash how Luceti was the worst town ever. Katara smoothes her face out and focuses on doing something to distract Nami - it looks like she could use it too.]

So you're moving, huh? I guess that means you'll need new stuff.

I'll have to see if someone else is home first. [No leaving chibis in the house by themselves.] But sure! Sounds like fun.

[Look! What works for Sokka works for Nami! Besides... she needs to accept that she's not going home soon. Having stuff would probably... help with that.]

OK, good. [She glances around the room and makes a face. She heads towards the door.] Let's go.

[Hey, she's a material girl. Nami will stop off long enough to ensure there is a fellow Straw Hat around to watch Sanji, and then follow Katara out the door.]

So clothes shopping for the both of us, huh?

[Katara looks down at herself. She'd meant to get stuff for her room, but... is now suddenly self-conscious.] That's... probably a good idea.

[She laughs.] Just stuff for my room. I haven't done much with it.

[...there's a brush. And a bed. And blankets!]

But I'm not allowed to go home until around dinner time. [And she rolls her eyes.]

All right. Well, let's go find some nice stuff for us both and then maybe we can get a hot drink at Good Spirits?

[Oh, Nami, if only you knew. Well, plying her with hot drinks might be a good way to get the story out of her.]

That sounds like a good plan! I haven't been there yet.

It's a great place. Most drinks are alcoholic, but Guy still has things like cocoa and orange juice. Uh, just avoid a guy called Goroh if you go there.

And it's all free, too! One of the few bonuses around here. [Steady stream of clothing? Win.] And it's great just to let off some steam, right? [You're a fellow teenage girl, you should totally know this. See, Nami looks less tired already.]

You stole some clothing? Shame on you. [Said with absolutely no rancour whatsoever. And maybe just a hint of glee. Pile of clothing is growing big in Nami's arms, there.]

We were in the Fire Nation! I couldn't go walking around dressed like I was from the South Pole. [And one hand steals up to her necklace. That was the longest time she'd ever had it off. It's reassuring just to know it's there.]

That is a pretty necklace.

[Her hand curls around it, and then she deliberately lets it drop.] It was my mother's.

[Have a smile that - hopefully - bypasses the seriousness of that statement.] It actually was made for my Gran Gran - it's a betrothal necklace. Wearing it in the Fire Nation would have been a dead give-away.
