[Due to Sokka's unexpected bout of sheer win, Katara has been given the gift of free time and she plans on making the most of it... after she was shooed back to bed due to threats from Sokka that made no sense at all.

First, she wants to check in on Sanji at the Strawhat's House. Then she wants to stop by the school and see if she can register to go once things are back to 'normal.' And... she has an idea that is going to lead her to the weapons shop. Finally, she'll go grocery shopping because they're running low on easy-to-cook things. Maybe she'll even get a chance to stand by the bridge and practice with real waterbending! ...although saving her strength to keep healing Zuko is probably a better idea. She'll probably just stare at the water wistfully and talk to Sona.

If you're around any of these places today, feel free to say 'Hey!' or give her hand, since she's not exactly sure how to do what she wants to do at the smithy or the school.]

Well... I guess so. [She splashes a little in the water with her feet as she considers, ignoring that it gets her shows wet a little. And then... well-] I've been getting lots of help from other people though. Like Adell, and the Sausage Master and... Xaldin and all sorts of people helping me to know things I didn't know.

[...there are a couple of names there that she doesn't recognize... but Sausage Master is going to make her laugh a little. She smiles warmly at Charlotte.] Well, we're all here together, right? It's good to be able to help each other if we can.

[She has now collected a respectable amount of skipping stones, and she turns to address her more fully.] Want to go giving stone skipping another shot?

[She doesn't get what's so funny about the very serious and clearly not at all Sokka Sausage Master, but she lets that slide in favor of a bright and vigorous nodding session at the second part!] Sure! Can you uh... show me the proper form?

Sure. But it's been a while so... first you hold it loosely in your hands like this - see how it's flat parrallel to the water? Then you just - flick. [Katara mimics the motion] It's all in the wrist.

[And with that she lets fly - One, two, three - four skips before it sinks.] Your turn.

[...Hmm. She studies that carefully before she blinks and then takes up one of the stones herself and tries to copy. The result gets her... no hopes. She used too little wrist.]

Close! But you need to flick your hand a little more. Like you're snapping - but with your hand instead of your fingers.

[She demonstrates without throwing a rock herself, and then passes another rock to Charlotte.] Here. Try again.

[Okay... trying again and... one skip, two skips! Alright! She did it!] Look, I did it!

Oh, good job, Charlotte! [She passes her another stone.] Here, try it again.

[...Okay. Trying again! And- ... two skips again!] Oh, I think I get it now!

[Smile.] That's great, Charlotte. Good job!

[And then she flicks her own wrist, sending another stone skipping across the water. -- four skips, very acceptable.] You've just got to keep practicing and you'll do fine.
