Aang didn't come out for breakfast today. When I went in his room to check on him, all his stuff was gone. ...I guess this means he went home, right?

And all the stuff in the kitchen is different - does anyone know how they're supposed to work? Or how they got in here without waking us up, because -- seriously, creepy.

Guess it's not a need so much as a convenience. Plus some people might be more used to this set-up than others.

We already figured out that the box by the sink can wash dishes. That's pretty neat, actually.

It's a machine that heats up food. Looks kind of like a box with a door on it.

Oooh. Is that what they're called? They're very fast. How do they work?

First you need to put the food inside. Once that's done you set the timer and let it cook.

Just be careful about what you put inside. I'd avoid heating anything metal, for one.

But how does it get hot? I don't see any fire.

It uses microwaves to heat things up from the inside, basically. Radiation, in other words.
