[Painstakingly filtered to the Straw Hats, Toph, Zuko, Sokka, Ginko, Allen Walker, Nash, Smithy Workers, and Caesar Silverberg, even though she's still a bit mad at him. 72 percent.]

If anyone knows how to make the filter higher, I'd really appreciate it.

Someone arrived from my world today who it would be a good idea to be cautious around. Her name is Azula, and she is a very powerful firebender who can also bend lighting. I don't know what she'll do without a Fire Nation here, but I can bet that it won't be anything good.

Don't trust her.

[And so after stalking Azula's entrance into Luceti and conversation with Roku, Katara decides that about now is a good time to interrupt them. So she will gingerly make her way over to where Roku is.]

Hey, Roku? Can I get your help with something?


ETA: And after about 2 minutes, that filter will have been bumped up to 100 via Ginko.

[Uh... great. What DOES she need help with?]

If you could grab me a bowl of soup, that would be really great. I don't want to have to stretch up for the bowls.

So, you know we have someone else who just came from our world? I think she's from your time.

Yeah, I did, actually. ...and Roku, there's something I need to tell you.

[She'll sit down on the couch and hope that he does the same.]

[And here comes Sokka into the living room. He sets himself down on a chair slowly, still sore from the battle. He doesn't even bother pulling off the fake beard after his conversation with Azula. He doesn't say anything just yet.]

[And Katara smiles at Sokka. There are some times where she is really proud of him. Now is one of those times.] Nice to see you, Wang Lee.

[Then she sobers, glancing over to Roku.] I was just telling Roku that... there was some stuff we needed to tell him. [She offers Roku a hesitant sort of smile.] A lot can happen in a person's lifetime, Roku. And we didn't want to throw too much at you your first day here.

[Sokka blinks at the Wang Lee statement before realizing, oh snap. The beard. He pulls that off quickly. He sobers once Katara gets to the meat of the discussion and he turns to Roku looking apologetic about it.]

[She glances at Sokka and then turns to Roku.] It's definitely something you need to know, but it's not something we would have told you if there weren't so many other people from our world here. It's not good. It has to do with Azula... and why she called Zuko a traitor.

[Sokka nods to confirm this.] Things aren't so good in our time. There's... well, there's a war in the future. Zuko turned against the Fire Nation to help stop it. Azula on the other hand...

A war? ...I had a bad feeling something had change with the Fire Nation when I was talking with Jet. What about Azula?

Azula... is ruthless. We've had to fight her before. She attacked Aang. She nearly killed him.

[Katara pauses. That's not exactly true. He had- he had died. But there's no need to get into that. And that - just knowing that his great-granddaughter killed him in another life... she hopes that's enough to get the point across, and prepare him for what's to come.]

We can tell you more when you're ready. And... you really should talk to Zuko.

[Sokka glances at Katara with a frown. "When he's ready?" He thought they'd tell him more now. Well, he keeps quiet for now and says nothing. He doesn't approve of keeping Roku in the dark for too long though. Not with Jet and Azula out there to try and manipulate him.]

[Katara meets Sokka's look steadily. If she could find some way to talk to him now, she'd be telling him to trust her, that Roku would pull through, that doing this slowly will work out fine, he's the Avatar... but she can't. So she just hopes he'll read it on her face anyway.

Roku gets met with an equally steady look. She's telling him the truth, or a watered-down version of it. He'll see that. He has to.]

That's fine. [A pause. A wry smile.] Zuko is not the best at explaining things. Be patient with him.

[Sokka gets the "I'm right" vibe at least. He's too drained to say anything about it, so he just crosses his arms and leans back, wincing just a bit as he aggravates a sore spot.]

He's pretty terrible at it, to be honest.

[Pause. And Katara nods.] OK. But don't wait too long, Roku. It's important.

[And have a sort-of-smile.] Mind passing me over the soup?

[Were they talking about something?]

I'll just get my own. [He gets up but DRAMATICALLY stands on his bad leg first and groans painfully.]

[Faking injury for sympathy man wins again. He leans back in satisfaction, only to painfully pop his neck in the process. Ouch! He smiles in spite of the pain.]
