[She doesn't understand why Sokka likes hacking filters so much. Her attempts so far have been met with nothing good. After looking at Ty Lee and Sokka's conversation yesterday... Katara has come to some conclusions. But that's far from the only thing that needs to be dealt with today, and so she takes out her journal to make some posts.]

I hope everyone is okay after yesterday. The houses should be back in order, but... if anyone needs any help moving things around or getting new furniture, there should be a bunch of us who'll be around to help. Just let me know and I'll try to get something organized, okay? We're all in this together, after all.

Oh, good. Not a lot of people got hurt this time around. [ Considering.... ] Mostly. A couple of holes left here and there, but I don't think it'll be a problem. Long as it doesn't rain.

Yeah, that is good to hear. Did you get a chance to watch some of the superheroes in the sky? It was a pretty amazing show. [Not to mention Aku, but, hey...]

You think the house is mad at you? [She casts a wary glance at her own house. It has had to deal with being on fire twice now.] I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like that, Usopp. But I'm glad that it didn't catch on fire or anything.

I don't know, I wouldn't be surprised. Aa, guess it does sound kind of weird, though.

Well, weirder things could happen. We were in this swamp once...

Mmmhmm. [She nods.] We'd been flying along on our way through the Earth Kingdom when Aang felt like the swamp was calling to him - but we had a bad feeling about it so we were going to fly on... until we got swept up in a giant whirlwind! It knocked us down into the swamp, and separated us from Appa and Momo.

Who are Appa and Momo? [ He gets to hear so many stories today. ;; ]

Oh, Appa? He's our flying bison. And Momo is a lemur.

...that sounds really cool. [ Not sure if he knows what they are, but still. AWESOME. ]

[She nods.] They were both really great. You wouldn't believe how fast a flying bison can fly! Or for how long... we crossed most of the world on Appa's back.

Aa, I don't know, a lot of stuff can get done when you don't think someone can do it. [ Memories~~ ] The Going Merry got us up to Skypeia and back down, and all the way to Water 7- and we didn't even have a shipwright then.

[ ...and yet. ] You guys really traveled that far?

From the South Pole to the North Pole, all over the Earth Kingdom and into the Fire Nation... there were some places we didn't go, but that pretty much covered most of it.

That must have been really amazing anyway.

It was! But you'd be surprised at how much of the world can start to look the same after a while... there were some spots that were really amazing, though! Like the Great Divide. That's something I wouldn't have minded seeing more of from Appa's back.

That's a good name for a ship. [Hey, her people are sea-faring.]

It could get like that sometimes when we were sailing. You know, a lot of water all the time. But maybe that just makes the other stuff more worth it.

Yeah - I can imagine! Brook showed me what your world looks like - I've never seen so much ocean! And I grew up by the sea!
