[The past few days have been good for Katara. The happy from mending her rift with Sanji hasn't faded, rather it has turned into a sort of muted contentment and being outside and with good company was good for the soul.

Of course, not everyone was having such a good time... but she couldn't really blame Caesar for that, considering the way he'd shown up. Everyone else seemed to be... mostly getting along. And it was so nice to be doing that which felt a little bit more familiar.

Not to mention the fact that she's been able to spend so much time in and around the water. Just now, she was taking a swim after dinner. It was so good to be so close to so much water again - just feel it on her senses, tugging at her awareness. It was almost like home, but in a way that made her happy instead of sad - because she refused to be sad as long as she had a choice about it.

Getting up, she wrings the water out of her hair and bends the rest off before making her way towards her journal.

Almost everything. Furniture, toys, cooking stuff, jewelry- I guess everything that isn't food, weapons or clothes, actually. A lot of really cool stuff to look at.

Wow, that sure is a lot of stuff! [Oddly enough, she's not the shopping enthusiast in the family.] Has Sokka been in there yet?

Yeah! I'm not really sure how it's all managing to fit, actually... [ A pity, really. Usopp usually finds girls make for the best shopping buddies. ]

Ah- he's probably been in since he got here, but I don't think I've seen him since I took over.

He'll have to stop by when we get back - it sounds like it is right up his alley. [And that is because he has never known the joy of debating with Sokka about whether or not he should buy a new bag.]

What times do you keep it open?

I usually get there at about eight. Maybe seven. Then I just leave whenever I get tired, I guess. People are pretty good at finding their own stuff, I just make sure it doesn't get too messed up.

Ah- yeah. Maybe I should have kept a closer eye on him that day...

...when last I saw him, he was labeling a door a 'door.' That doesn't seem so bad.

It was when he started labeling stuff that actually belongs to people that we got in trouble.

...Oh. Yeah, I can see how that would be a problem.

We should be heading back in a few days, so maybe Sokka and I will drop by your shop then. He does love stuff.
