[The past few days have been good for Katara. The happy from mending her rift with Sanji hasn't faded, rather it has turned into a sort of muted contentment and being outside and with good company was good for the soul.

Of course, not everyone was having such a good time... but she couldn't really blame Caesar for that, considering the way he'd shown up. Everyone else seemed to be... mostly getting along. And it was so nice to be doing that which felt a little bit more familiar.

Not to mention the fact that she's been able to spend so much time in and around the water. Just now, she was taking a swim after dinner. It was so good to be so close to so much water again - just feel it on her senses, tugging at her awareness. It was almost like home, but in a way that made her happy instead of sad - because she refused to be sad as long as she had a choice about it.

Getting up, she wrings the water out of her hair and bends the rest off before making her way towards her journal.

If you are out there camping, feel free to bump into her at the lake, or on her way back to the campsite!]

Why would there be anything wrong with it? [She rights herself in the water and turns to look at him.] I'd like to see them, but if it makes you uncomfortable for some reason, you don't have to worry about it.

[He shakes his head slightly.] That's not it. I was just... uh, surprised, I guess.

[Pffff, you dork. She splashes at him very lightly, in a truly pathetic splash.]

Of course I'm going to want to see what you're growing. It's something you're actually doing - heh, and besides. They're pretty.

[He's had his eyes closed for most of this part of the conversation, so when the water hits him, he splashes about in the water for a moment. He grins a little, though, and splashes some water back at her.]

[Pfff, look at him flail-- oi! Splashing back is cheating!

She wrinkles her nose at him and then sticks it up in the air in an obvious attempt to pull off snooty.]

See that you don't, then.

[And she holds the pose for 3...2...1... /splaaaaaaaaaaaah! No bending was involved in the making of that small wave headed in your direction.

She then proceeds to bust into laughter.]
