Hey, Caesar! Do you mind if I stop by this afternoon? [Because mind or not, she is coming. But before she gets there, if you asked after her while she had eye-mushi and she hasn't spoken to you yet, she's looking for you. She will be all about town, since she doesn't know where some of you live. She also plans on checking in with Sokka and the rest of the Gaang at some point today.]
[And later in the evening, after dinner and far past when she is usually fast asleep, you can find Katara practicing not far from her house. Since Ginko died she's been robbed of her rest - combine that with the draft list being posted and she's decided to cope the only way she knows how - by using the time to find some peace. For that purpose, she is doing a special form. She runs through the first without doing any bending at all. When she repeats it, she bends thin tendrils of water up and around and over, following the movements of her hands - and when one catches her eye she freezes it in place, creating a small practice area of frozen arches and swirls.
They won't last long, especially not in the heat of a summer night. That's not the point. That's not the point at all.]

...
Are you telling me that your sword is part of your soul?
[action]
[What? Is that so hard a concept to understand?] ... Yes. [Sort of. Mostly.]
[action]
So do you - feel it? When you use it to cut things?
[action]
Maybe you should think of it as a representation of the soul.

Don't move. [This isn't really something he normally does, but her questions will go on forever if he doesn't show her something and Hyourinmaru himself hasn't been manifested in some time; he can feel the dragon getting restless. He takes a few steps back and pulls the sword, then holds it out to the side.
Cold air gathered and whirled around him and it seemed that the very water in the air froze and coalesced in the form of a cold, blue dragon (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Taezh4ULlfw/SOSqjfTo04I/AAAAAAAAAIU/BkLnwOk8ia0/s400/Hyourinmaru-Toshiro-Hitsugaya.jpg). At least the roar isn't too loud -- neither Hitsugaya nor Hyourinmaru really want to draw much attention to this.]
This is Hyourinmaru.
[action] 1/2
[action] 2/3
And unlike with Aku, when she could sense the sheer oppressive and otherworldly evil of his dragon form - unlike the raw fire she'd heard of when Aang described Roku's dragon...
Hyourinmaru was different. Solid and cold and unforgiving - and familiar in the way that home was. Sharp and harsh, untemperate and violent, the kind of nature that made you decide. Who are you. What will you do. Can you survive?
Are you able to make a difference.]
[action]
Lifts her gaze. Smiles the smallest of smiles.] Hello.
[Yes, she can survive. She knows who she is. She knows what she can do. She will make a difference.]
[action]
Hitsugaya waves his hand and the dragon disappears, leaving behind only cold air and a sheen of ice where he stood. He sheathes the sword, crosses his arms, and raises a brow. For now, he'll let the dragon speak for him and allow Katara to draw her own conclusions.
... Yes, he's proud of his dragon. Shut up.]
[action]
He's beautiful.
[action]
He's uniquely suited to me, a partner in battle that I know I can trust.

action] DONE!
[action]
Right. You were saying he was like - an extension of yourself.
[action]
[And now, he's going to take this seriously, because that's just awkward. He nods.] Yeah. Like that. His power is mine.
[action] 1/2
Oh.
[That is... an evaluating look she is sending your way, Hitsugaya. Katara talks to people who could be seen as out of her league all the time, with the same easy familiarity she addresses the Avatar of her world... but give her a minute to process this.
[action]
[action]
He's never going to be able to explain this in any way that it'll make sense to her. So he just rolls with it. And, actually, that isn't a bad way to put it, really. He nods slowly.]
That describes it well enough. [He shrugs.]
