[Today, Katara is on a mission. There are people she has to thank for giving her presents, and to that purpose she has prepared small pressed impressions of dried goldenrods in glass (thank you, Usopp and the item shop) or pressed into paper with the words 'Thank You' written on it, depending on what she thinks you'll like more. Yes, this has taken her all week.

She will either be dropping them off at your house, or meeting with you personally to touch base with you. There are a few other people she's on the look out for in particular, and several side missions she also hopes to accomplish. Feel free to bump into her at any point as she goes about her business, whether or not there is a dried flower for you!]

Sokka. [She sighs and turns to look at him.] He told me that something was wrong.

[Spill.]

[... he doesn't want to look at her. Those trees are suddenly far more interesting.]

We had an argument. It was after you talked to him about Azula. It was a long time coming and it isn't a big deal.

What isn't sudden, in this place. [That - was a touch too bitter for her tastes. And so she shrugs.] Change is just - like that.

[Yeah, well, tough. Because she plants her feet. She's not going anywhere.] Is this about Azula?

[Because she'd understand that. And that would be - easier.]

Only one. But I don't usually try to make it myself.

The pizzeria? I went on my first day, actually. It's quite good!

[He was annoyed at the Azula thing, but really, that was only a minor thing for him. Because it didn't surprise him at all.]

[She crosses her arms and stares him down.]

And he's also kept her here for longer than she probably wanted. He sighs and gets to his feet, so he can walk her to the door]

Not so much keeping the law as... [She frowns slightly. There really isn't a good way to explain this without going into complicated details, but-] Keeping... the towns in check. Some moreso than others. The towns mostly governed themselves. They were more of an outside force.

[Sokka groans and stares up at the forest canopy.]

What does it matter? I know you might think Sanji is this great, wonderful guy. Well, that's fine. If you want to think that, I'm not going to stop you.

...On your first day? [She's amused, yes she is.] Well, we can head over there if you want but first - [And she passes the box in her hand over to him.] - this is for you.

[Her eyes narrow.]

You don't know what I think about Sanji, or why. So why don't we start with what your problem is -- when I first got here, you guys were friends!

[She moves to open the door and immediately brightens up when she sees who's come to visit.]

Katara! What brings you here?

And we're not now, okay? [He really wishes he could drop it and leave it at that. But he knows she won't let up. She never lets up on anything.] I was mad at him about the Aku thing, okay? He asked you to go help save Nami. It was bad enough he wanted you to go up against a monster you couldn't even scratch, but he didn't even bother to let me know. Or bring me along. He could have gotten you killed and I wouldn't have even known.

[She takes a long sip from her iced tea and takes Sanji's hint to stand.]

Sanji? ...you look tired. Maybe you should take a nap.

Don't be an idiot! It's not like he went behind your back - I told him I was telling you, he knew you'd be coming with me. Just because he wasn't the one to ask you didn't mean that he didn't want you along. He let you fight with Robin, one of his own crew members - and you're upset because you think he didn't want you to go?

And don't you dare be mad because he asked me along. You know I would have gone all by myself, without an invitation if I had to.

It's up to you, really. I'll be happy enough as long as there's—

Me?

[For a moment, Sokka has to process that. Because that is not how Sanji put it to him. At all.]

I know you would have gone up there alone! Because that's what you do. And it's not wrong, but... [... it's not the point here. There's a bigger point. But he doesn't want to admit it. Not after he's passed it off as not being a big deal in the past.] I'm sorry, alright? I was wrong about that.

Hi, Diana! I was just hoping to drop this off... [She trails off, to reach into her small bag and hand Diana a Thank You note with pressed golden rod in it, hoping that she made the right choice and that she'd like the note more than the glass..]

Oh. [Processing...] That sounds like how it was when the Fire Nation would take over Earth Kingdom towns. The towns would be cut off from the Earth Kingdom rule, and the Fire Nation soldiers would just... make sure they didn't cause trouble for the Fire Nation. And do whatever they wanted...

[He halts, and manages some surprise]

Eh? Do I? [rubbing the back of his neck] With everything happening to Noel-chan and Nami-san... [He trails off since that's not quite... true.

But she doesn't need to know what happens when he closes his eyes and dreams. Instead, he glances back up and smiles tiredly, not trying to hide it]

I'll take one in a bit. [He'll try]
