[On her way back from slipping a fresh Thank You note underneath Allen Walker's door, Katara sees a shiny blue disk.

Ooooooo. Shiny.

She reaches out to touch it - and is whisked up and away! Her journal tumbles opened as she fights to control it, and she's soon laughing with pure joy. This is so fast! It's awesome!]

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! [More laughter. Okay, phasing through things is kind of weird, so she's going to try to steer this manic thing out of the village and - oh no. Rock. ROCK! Why isn't it phasing!!

She tumbles out of the thing, head over heels into the river and starts laughing helplessly. She tries to get back to her feet and falls back in. The journal's landed open safely on the bank, and is recording her attempts to stand up straight.]

Oh man. [Splash.] Wow.

[Later, she throws up a small filter to Riku]

Hey - you doing OK?

[He chanced the journal again. Don't ask him why. Boredom will do strange things to people. When it's evident that nothing... untoward is going to jump out at him, he starts poking through to see what's going on.

Weird stuff. More weird stuff. Weird stuff. A familiar voice screaming and laughing.

Yeah, that'll make him stop. At least there's laughing. He's still a little hesitant to say anything. You know, just in case her sense of humor is more warped than his lieutenant's.]

[Splash, splash - slipFALL - more laughing. Eventually she'll make her way to the shore.]

Hitsugaya! [She manages to bend the water off of herself and sits down with a WOOSH to pick up her journal.] There are these blue disks in town - you've got to try one of these things.

[Okay, now he knows she's delusional. He's not trying anything in this town, least of all today.]

Seemed safer to stay inside. [Pause. Oh, damn his curiosity.] What do they do?

They turn into this - kind of cart! And it moves really, really fast and you pass through buildings and people and everything!

[She sounds positively excited over this. Interesting. Maybe she's delusional.]

And then dump you in the river?

Well. There was this rock... it must stop passing through things so that you can get out, and that's why it crashed.

It must've! Or else I would have landed a lot harder. [Dude. Stop trying to make her think things through practically. She had fun! Soon you'll get her thinking about safety hazards.]

So it just whisked you away, took you at breakneck speeds through the town, and suddenly threw you off?

... That sounds fun.

[Because. Dude. Maybe her enthusiasm was dampened, but she did have fun and she's not backing down from that.]
