[Today - hadn't been so bad. Twenty of them, maybe? It sure seemed like there were a lot less out here than they'd been led to expect, and that was only a good thing because she was tired. The weight of doing this every day was getting to her. Blood had dried in clumps in her hair, and she'd been too tired to bend it out. Now as she stood in the shower, the water collecting at her feet was pink.
It isn't supposed to be pink.
Her stomach heaves and Katara shuts her eyes and stands under the water until even the Malnosso's hotel runs out of hot water, and long after it turns cold.
The thought of going to sleep leaves her restless, and after staring at herself in the mirror too long, she goes to knock on some doors. She doesn't plan on staying long, but just - seeing - that Toph and Sokka are still all right will do her good. She hesitates, and then heads towards Caesar's door as well. When she returns, she's still awake, and so instead of a quick line that she won't respond to anyway, she makes a voice post tonight.]
Hey everyone! How are things going there?
[Hesitation.]
Nami, is... the house still standing?

Nami, is... the house still standing?
[Private]
So should you.
[Private]
But even when I am feeling restless, I make it a point to try for at least a few hours. You never know how much it will benefit you down the road, after all.

[And he'd intended to do just that, but... he can't help but worry about these kids. Especially not when he's technically responsible for them. It's especially important in this situation.]
I'll likely be up for a little while longer myself if you run out of company before then.
[Private]
[She looks from the book to her bed and then back to the book.]
...how about a cup of tea?
[Private --> Action]
And that is the sound of pages rustling, as if stirred by a sudden breeze. Katara may pick it up before-
Knock knock.
[Action]
Hi, Brook! Come on in.
[Action]
What sort of tea shall we be having?
[Action]
Ginseng? Or maybe - it's late - so we should try chamomile?
[Action]
Oh, I think chamomile would be most relaxing.
[Action]
Hot water, chamomile tea leaves, and two strainers, please.
[Action]
So it's just one more day we have to get through of this draft now. I don't know about you, but I am looking forward to being home again.

She doesn't much care for the silence, though. So it will stretch on for a good half a minute or so while she watches the tea seep before she breaks it.]
Want to see something pretty?

[She glances at the table, and removes her strainer.] I think the tea is done.
