[Should you be passing by the bridge between the clinic and the Item Shop on this fine, finally-a-break-from-the-heat afternoon, you will notice that there has been a certain change in the landscape. A large wall, seemingly made out of one solid chunk of earth has appeared by the riverbank and painted white. At varying points in the day there may also be some spheres, pyramids, inverted pyramids appearing beside the wall... and that white wall is on its way to becoming multicolored.

There by the wall is a large sheet and on it rest pretty much every container of water-soluble paint found in the Item Shop, mainly strong primary colors. There are balloons and small buckets and bowls, and just about everything you could want in order to throw paint at a white wall.

Random passerby, what do you do? Continue on your way and hope not to get splashed with mud, water, or paint? Stop to wonder at this strange work of 'art?' Or if you don't mind getting your hands dirty, there does seem to be more than enough paint...]

Yeah. No.] Masaomi.

[And she waits until she gets his attention before flicking the remnants of blue in her pot in his direction. The poor pink hoodie.]

Whaaaaaaa- Katara!!

[He looks down at himself, but then he laughs. Pink on blue?! He looks like a maternity ward! He flicks whatever paint will flick off his hands at her, and then scrambles to get more ammo]

[Sadly, all Katara has left is the paint on the wall - and she's not turning this into a bending match. So she laughs and races towards the sheet with the paint on it!

Who will win?!]

[Well Masaomi's strides are longer- so here, a bunch of green paint, lets just lob some at Katara before she can get here. With a grin, that is]

Eeep! [And she dodges the vast majority of that as she runs, though some of it manages to catch her left shoulder. And she's bending and scooping up some abandoned blue paint as she goes - better watch out.]

[Masaomi starts to run too - he's quick, agile - but unlike her he can't bend, so he keeps needing to return to the table proper to get some things to throw- like this yellow paint. He scoops it up to toss and then- well the wall might not be totally dry, let's head there.

This is fun.]

[So here's this earthbender who's been practicing new shapes, pretty much ignoring Katara and--whatever the heck it was she was doing with--

Masaomi?

...Okay, yeah, time to make her appearance. So she meanders over, right in the middle of their war zone.]

...What the heck are you doing?

[Actually. He doesn't notice Toph before he's thrown his next blob of paint. So there's a projectile of green-blue goop being thrown at her head]

[Oh -- crap.

And Katara drops the paint in her hands and makes a grab for the paint heading towards Toph with her bending.

IS SHE IN TIME?!]

[No. No, Katara, you are not in time.

And the paint splats right into the side of Toph's head.

A moment passes before the eruption.]

What did you do that for?

[Oh, you guys are gonna get it now.]

....Not my intention!!

[This.

This does not. Bode well]

[...pffff. OK, this situation is so horrible that it has become hilarious. Toph will probably pick up on the suppressed laughter in Katara's tone.]

He was aiming at me, Toph.

[Hmm. To bend the paint off or just... invite Toph to join in? Sadly, her mood is more conciliatory than mischievous at the moment. She reaches out a hand and starts bending off the green paint.]

We were having a paint fight.

Yeah, I noticed.

[And she doesn't want to join in. Throwing around liquidy goop was Katara's gig. Doesn't stop her bending the earth around her to spray dirt like a sprinkler on the both of them, though.]

[Aaaah what- Masaomi doesn't bother to evade, instead he just shielfs his eyes because dirt in there would be awkward]

Toph!

[She also just raises her arms to block the dirt, but considering that she's been getting paint-splattered all day, some of the dirt sticks on her.]

Oh, gross.

What? It's just earth, Katara. [Toph loves to be covered in it, personally.]

Besides, you totally deserve it.

[And it's stuck to him too. Ick]

Ah that's... certainly a new look.

It's dirt and you walked right in the middle of our fight!

In fact, if you ask me... you're asking for it.

[Do you hear the growing mischief in her tone, Toph? Are you scared yet?]

[Oh yes, she hears it.]

Is that a challenge, Sweetness?

I daresay it is, Toph-chan!

[THIS FACE]

[No more words! This is not a bending war, but Katara's had enough training in the past year and a half to be plenty fast without it. She dips her hand in the yellow paint and lobs some at Toph!]

[Oh, it is so on, you guys.

Well, if Katara isn't going to use her bending to her advantage, Toph won't either--much as she'd like to. Instead she ducks before that yellow paint can hit her and she goes running to scoop up a glob of paint herself.

She's lobbing it right at you, Masaomi.]

[And he takes it like a pisser. Well, he tries to dodge, but he prioritizes re-arming over ducking. And now with a new blob of green in hand, incoming for Toph]

[Ha! And better watch out for another one from the left!

...then again, two against one isn't really fair. Katara bends down to grab up some more paint and throw it in Masaomi's direction.]

[And she takes those paint blobs like a man, thank you very much! Plus, not like she cares how she looks. She just wants to get the other two as messy as possible.

While Katara is throwing her paint ball at Masoami, Toph jumps over and scoops some up to throw at the waterbender herself.]
