Katara!Sue
Jun. 30th, 2009 11:28 amKatara has been turned into a Mary Sue. Why? Because I am a horrible person.
As such, her interactions with others will be of necessity changed and delineated by gender. If you like, you can pick a number (just put it in the comment subject line) and I'll make up a wild story to go with it, or I'll just refer back to this as my cheat sheet when I get tempted to drop the whole act with the help of your good friend and mine, the RNG. And fear not! This only effects Katara's perception. Your character is free to go WTF at her all he or she wants.
Anyone Male
1. She is hopelessly in love with you.
2. You are hopelessly in love with each other.
3. You are hopelessly in love with her. You haven't confessed yet, but oh, she knows.
4. You are hopelessly in love with her and she just doesn't feel the same way. Prepare to be smothered in pity.
5. You're enemies. She hates you. You hate her. This is usually solved with slicing words and tears, but could come to blows.
6. You're somehow related.
Anyone Female
1. You are best friends.
2. You are rivals!
3. You are best friends AND rivals!
4. You're somehow related.
5. You're enemies.
6. You're in love with her, but she doesn't feel that way.
No, it doesn't matter if you've never met before or if it's physically impossible. The powers of Sue compel me to just make up some ridiculous story. No, it doesn't matter if she's hopelessly in love with multiple people - she'll just forget the other person exists as soon as they're not around, or be drawn into internal angst, whatever is more amusing at the time. Maybe both!
There IS NO CONSISTENCY HERE. Her eyes now change color with her emotions, and I'd make a chart but that would be consistent, she sparkles, she's a vegetarian, she's a mighty huntress, a vegan, your half cousin, and she has all your powers, ALL OF THEM except they just don't work because the mean Malnosso took them. (She'll also be utterly useless at any of her regular, innate skills. Hope you guys like your cooking burnt, House 56.)
I have no idea how long I'll be able to keep this up, but the plan is to return her completely to normal by the 3rd at the latest. Please try not to kill her before then, since her birthday's on the 5th and it's sixteen and marrying age and kind of a big deal for her - and I'm sorry for all these random Katara things to be thrown at those who'd have to go to her birthday so close together, it wasn't intentional. Feel free to just walk away if it gets too much or something, she won't follow. >>
