[So it's safe to say that this month has been more than a little crazy. But with nothing exploding in the past few days, she's finally had some time to take care of some basic etiquette. There is no postal system in Luceti, so Katara will be making some visits today. Namely, to all those who gave her a present who she doesn't live with, so we're looking at: Buffy, Jack, Trafalgar Law, Masaomi Kida, Nara Shikamaru, Harry Dresden, Vivi, Mia, Raine and anyone else I may have missed in my scan of the present table. Once she finds your living place, you will receive a handmade thank you card with pressed flowers from her garden inside. (Naturally, any of these deliveries may be handwaved, and if anyone in one of those apartment buildings/houses wants to wonder what she's doing there, feel free to say hello!)

But - hark! - sometime during her jaunt out and about town, Katara actually spots something in the clothing shop that catches her eye. A hat display! Right by the window! She heads inside (just for a moment or two, she swears) to start trying on what look to be several very silly hats. Feel free to catch her at this activity, but be warned! She may try and fit you with a hat as well.]

[Were those his Katara senses or his silly hat senses that were tingling? Maybe even both. Either way, Aang notices this through the store window and hops in to meet her, a few laughs escaping in the process.]

[A sleepy and still slightly battered Law answers the door. He and Itachi were on a combat mission in the mountains from the 22 to the 25, same area Shikamaru and the others were, though they were hunting cultists.

He's been taking the two days off for sleep and health, both physical and mental. It was... an interesting mission all told. And a very bloody one. So he's in light pants and an open shirt and not much else. He's been lazing around for him.]

[And this girl right here is probably draped in a combination of cobbled-together Fire Nation-like wear. She's taken to modifying saris for this, separating the top (the one on the right), to leave her mid-drift bare, adding wide, loose capris, also dyed blue, and using the remaining skirt from the original sari as an overskirt. Add to this her ever-present waterskin - this one also dyed blue, and a birthday present.

She knew he'd gone, and knew he'd returned, but hadn't done much more than greet him after his arrival. So she smiles at him, and withdraws the card she'd already selected from the bag tied to her belt.]

[She won't stay long, not to worry. You can soon get back to relaxing.]

[The bell jingles and Katara glances up, still wearing the monstrosity in question. She laughs a little.]

[Vash was on his way to the bakery. But then he stops and looks into the doorway of the clothing shop. What is she- SNICKER!]

[Katara glanced around and found a likely suspect. She retrieved it and handed it to him.]

[Or completely ridiculous. Come on, even KATARA can't take seriously wearing a hat that looks like it's about to eat you.]

[And hark, it is the 25th and Shikamaru is just getting back from his mission. Tired as is the norm for him, but not so bad otherwise. After coming out of the tunnels, he just has to go through town to get back to the apartment, but instead catches Katara as he's passing the clothing shop, while she's trying on this one.]

Ouch. Whose eye are you planning to stab out with that thing?

[ and then she heard the knock on her door, she does indeed show up to answer it. probably in her lounge kit: yoga pants and a tank top. ]

[Yay, she gets a thank you card and pressed flowers! While she always gets flowers (and buys them regularly), a flower from a friend is still special.

So, when she spots Katara inside the clothing store she usually frequents, she wants to say her thanks but Ino immediately sighs and shakes her head when she sees those silly hats.]
