[It happened quickly. One moment she was fourteen, her back aching as the wings stretched across scars, the next she was seventeen and the relief of pain was almost dizzying. The memories sorting in and through her were easily as dizzying.
She fell down to her knees as her two lives collided and when she rose, both sets of memories were confused, but she knew who she was. And she wanted to see her family. She didn't walk. She ran all the way home.
Much later, she made a post to her journal, filtered to her friends.]
Hi, everyone. I know that I don't say this enough and... I know that this month is kind of stressful. But I just wanted to say how glad, how really glad I am to have met all of you. I don't say it enough. You're all people I've come to rely on, and I'm so glad you're in my life.
...and I remember you now, just in case you were wondering. I hope I'll see you all very soon.
((OOC: If you're wondering if you're on her friends filter, you probably are! If you want to run into her resuming her normal routine the 8th-9th, that's OK too!))

[The delineation that Katara normally keeps between herself and people she becomes in experiments is muddled enough to be potentially noticeable.]
[filtered]
Well what about now?
[filtered]
[Or you mean you're wondering if she's back to trusting you, since her other self so obviously didn't.]
[filtered]
[Because that's one thing he can be grateful for. She has a lot of people who love and want to be there for her; a lot at her house waiting for her there. Katara's not lacking for company, if he stops by tomorrow instead of today.]
But I don't mind talking to you for awhile.

What happened to Masaomi?
[filtered]
He got back from you-know-where earlier today. His injuries have already been treated and he's doing all right now, but he was gone for awhile.
[filtered]
How badly was he injured?
[filtered]
[And electrical burns.]
[filtered]
...well. I'm glad to hear that he's recovering.
[filtered]
I'm not convinced there isn't some experiment going on with him, but he's fine for the time being. I can keep an eye on him, and you can worry about seeing Sokka and Aang and the others.
[He knows they missed her.]
[filtered]
I've seen them first thing.
[She fiddles with it to make sure the filter is private, but only for a moment.]
It's sure... something to go from having no family, no one I could trust, to this. I haven't felt this warm, this happy in a long time.
[And she's not just talking about the past month.]
[filtered]
[And he's glad for her. There are weird times like this, when she can find the light in the darker of places.]
[filtered]
What kind of reaction were you expecting?
[filtered]
[filtered]
Fair enough.
