[She doesn't understand why Sokka likes hacking filters so much. Her attempts so far have been met with nothing good. After looking at Ty Lee and Sokka's conversation yesterday... Katara has come to some conclusions. But that's far from the only thing that needs to be dealt with today, and so she takes out her journal to make some posts.]

I hope everyone is okay after yesterday. The houses should be back in order, but... if anyone needs any help moving things around or getting new furniture, there should be a bunch of us who'll be around to help. Just let me know and I'll try to get something organized, okay? We're all in this together, after all.

I know you hacked this, Sokka. And leaving off just how wrong this still is - don't worry. I just want to talk to her.

[And after this post, Katara can be found slicing the five trees around her house into manageable sized bits of lumber, responding to journal entries, and eventually wandering around to where ever Ty Lee says that she'd like to meet.]

Yeah. We can't just leave them there. And now you won't have to worry about building material for a while.

Not quite how I would have wanted to get them, but hey, I guess it works. Waste not.

But soon enough, Sokka will be out front, a wood chopping axe in hand. Fortunately he keeps the house as well equipped as he does the smithy.]

[Katara shows up and takes a look at the trees, the axe, and sighs.] This is going to take forever. We should get Roku and Zuko out here too.

[She goes over to another tree - long and about as thick as her waist. A water whip should take care of this pretty quickly. One strike cuts it through about halfway. She repeats.]

[Sokka frowns at that comment. What's wrong with an axe? He's a Thunderaxe, after all!]

Alright. Fine. [He stomps off back to the house.]

[Katara glances at him - what's his problem?]

What? There are five trees! We could use the extra help!

[No no! He keeps going in. Forget you, Katara. :|

And comes back out a few minutes with a strange kind of saw. He pulls the rip cord and it roars to life. Who needs bending when you have technology?]

WHAT IS THAT? WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

[The shouting is in part to be heard over the roar, but also - what the hell.]

[Sorry Katara, can't hear you over the sounds of being unspeakably awesome. Also the chainsaw. He moves on up to the wood and starts cutting through it like a knife through butter. Only louder, slower, and with bits of wood flying everywhere. Good thing he put his safety goggles on, huh?]

[Katara covers her ears with her hands. She doesn't know what he's doing, but it's kind of scary and she is not going to be loud and distracting right now because that. Is. Insane.]

[Once he's cut through the tree, he pulls the chainsaw back and lets it die down and turns back to her with a self-satisfied smirk.]

What was that about Roku and Zuko again?

[...Blink. Blink, blink.]

[Griiiiiin.]

You're right. It looks like you've got it all under control.

[And then she will turn and start walking towards the house.]

Hey! Not so fast, this was your idea, remember?

[She doesn't turn around an just waves a hand, still heading towards the house.] Oh, but you think you don't need any extra help. You've got it all under control with that loud - thing.

It's a chainsaw and fine, I can use some help. [He's just not useless, that's all.]

[Katara pauses and looks back at him - why is he acting all weird?]

Fine, I'll go back to the other one. [She makes a face.] You don't have anything to block the sound of that thing, do you?

Yeah, I think I've got something. Just a second. [He puts the chainsaw down and heads back into the house where he keeps his tools. He has just the thing.]
