[The past few days have been good for Katara. The happy from mending her rift with Sanji hasn't faded, rather it has turned into a sort of muted contentment and being outside and with good company was good for the soul.

Of course, not everyone was having such a good time... but she couldn't really blame Caesar for that, considering the way he'd shown up. Everyone else seemed to be... mostly getting along. And it was so nice to be doing that which felt a little bit more familiar.

Not to mention the fact that she's been able to spend so much time in and around the water. Just now, she was taking a swim after dinner. It was so good to be so close to so much water again - just feel it on her senses, tugging at her awareness. It was almost like home, but in a way that made her happy instead of sad - because she refused to be sad as long as she had a choice about it.

Getting up, she wrings the water out of her hair and bends the rest off before making her way towards her journal.

Oh uh, she was this little girl. Pink hair, weird floppy ears. She didn't talk at all. I think she was sent home a long time ago, though. [Least, he hadn't seen her in a long time.]

Oh. [She vaguely remembers seeing someone like that during... the love experiment, actually.] I don't think I ever knew her name.

She was really nice. [And though a little annoying, he kind of misses her.]

[Sadness! No!] Yeah - this place is full of a lot of nice people. [She tilts her and glances back towards the camp.] And you sure picked a bunch of interesting ones to come camping.

[Yeah. Razette? Already pushed from his mind.] In my defense, I didn't invite all of them. Some of them are friends of friends.

Well - at least it seems like they're all getting along. Mostly.

To be honest, I kind of expected a fight to break out by now.

For the record, it doesn't count if it's Ed and Winry.

There was this HUMONGOUS beetle latched on my face! It was so weird looking! Even weirder after I crushed it with a big rock.

Hey, we don't know what the bugs here are like! For all I know, it was planning to lay eggs in my face and they would all crawl out one week later and I'd be running around with creepy beetles crawling out of my eyes!
