[Action, Accidental Voice] .003
[After having to push herself to heal and volunteering to help build the barrier with her bending, Katara is tired of not knowing for sure just how strong her bending is in this place. So sometime after the sun has gone down and the moon has risen high, she is going to quietly leave the Avatar house and travel to one of the closer lakes. She's not being overly sneaky about it, just quiet enough to be 'considerate,' if one of her housemates catches her in the act.
She'll be bringing her journal with her in case someone needs her or she needs to get a hold of someone quickly. She's still not exactly sure how this journal system works, so the chances are good that it will open on its own, and if it does all that will be heard is the sound of water moving and falling ice.
While she's there, she'll also be trying to contact the water spirit that she read about in the guide.
Pausing for a second, she stares at the half-moon] I wonder...
[Shaking herself, Katara resumes her forms.]

WRONG SPIRIT.
Someone is amused. And big. And watching you from behind the trees, glaring down at the little girl playing with water.]
[Action]
But she is not going to say anything yet. Oh no, she is going to continue on as if she hasn't noticed, while she scans the area as discretely as possible to try to locate the source of her uncomfortable feeling.]
[Action]
Uncle Irohthe late Mako, Aku speaks to the puny little girl.]What a foolish little girl, so alone in the forest.
[action]
Actually, it seems like quite a popular vacation spot. Are you out to enjoy the moonlight?

Oh! Leonardo. Hi. [She lets the water she's been practicing with fall.] You startled me. What are you doing out here?
[action]
Hello. Sorry -- for startling you. I came to watch the water.

[If so, she needs to find a more private place to practice in the future.]

[Mercury's - yes, Mercury's, blue hair and all - lips curve up in an unpleasant smile closer to a smirk.]
But water is mine.
[Action]
That's a ridiculous thing to say. Water belongs to everyone.

In his bed. Asleep. Completely oblivious to the fact she was even gone. Best brother ever.]

Blanket. There has to be a blanket around here somewhere. Or a towel. Oh man, is she not looking forward to explaining this, especially after Sokka had told her not to attract attention. But he needed to know.
Like hell she was going in there while she was still shaking. Spirits, those things.
Breathe.]

It doesn't take long for Sokka to notice that she's soaked, which is pretty unusual for his sister. She looks disheveled as well. He drops the sword and walks in.]
