In which Katara's personality is affected: The horrible depression that she hasn't been able to shake since Sokka left? Gone. She is suddenly much happier.

Oh, also. There's teleportation. And thought bubbles. She apologizes if she ends up with her hand on your tea.

The last 4 days
Katara grew up in New York, the younger sister of Kate Bishop. Unfortunately, she had these... powers. She's learning how to deal with them while trying to save the world, you know, as one does as a Young Avenger.

[And she's off, not only with a strong surge forward, but with a surge of the surrounding water. Hopefully Aang's keeping his balance!]

[He's the Avatar, he's practically Mr. Balance! And he's good at getting the hang of things, so he shoots forward as well, not quite catching up to her yet, but gaining speed and laughing all the way.]

[Katara doesn't glance behind her - her eyes are on the goal! She begins a zig-zagging pattern, working with the waves.

And yes, she's smiling and enjoying herself!]

[Aang just enjoys the ride as he works on catching up, riding the waves but focusing more on following the wind patterns.

He's at least close enough to tell how happy she seems. It's one of the greatest reliefs he's seen in this place for quite some time.]

{And Aang puts on some more speed as they approach it! But it seems he won't catch up in time!]

[And Katara would have won, too, if it wasn't for the meddling teleportation shift.

There is a slight popping sound and then Katara is simply gone, vanished to another part of Luceti.]

[One minute, he was looking towards Katara. And then, she was gone.

He looked around, a little worried.]

Katara? Katara?

[Maybe she teleported. Or maybe she went really really fast.]

[No, sorry. She's gone! She's probably in the mountains or the hot springs or with one foot in someone's pie right now.]

[Aang manages to assure himself that she must be alright, wherever she is, and he resolves to check the journal later to make sure. He makes his way back to shore as the rain starts to pick up again, and it's not soon before he's teleported again. It could be to Katara's location, or if this is the thread's end, he ends up elsewhere, and remembering Katara's smile gives him the strength to keep fending off the Malnosso's weirdness.]
