events are made for me and you
Day 1
Ever wonder what Katara would be like if she was a ten year old who'd spend the last two years in Luceti? Now's your chance to find out!
Days the rest
In which Katara's personality is affected: The horrible depression that she hasn't been able to shake since Sokka left? Gone. She is suddenly much happier.
Oh, also. There's teleportation. And thought bubbles. She apologizes if she ends up with her hand on your tea.
The last 4 days
Katara grew up in New York, the younger sister of Kate Bishop. Unfortunately, she had these... powers. She's learning how to deal with them while trying to save the world, you know, as one does as a Young Avenger.

Day 8-ish (of course he's got to visit when he's a water bender)
But he's gone by her house in the afternoon in the hopes of having a cup of tea and a conversation where he manages to speak of absolutely nothing of consequence.]

So Katara was currently remembering Sanji and Sokka and experimenting with different types of crushed ice slushie things. That way if she ended up being teleported somewhere, as kept happening, at least she'd have a nice drink or some fruit in her hand. The kitchen counter was covered with the fruits - heh - of her labor.
She wasn't expecting company, but considering that she could disappear at any moment, she kept a peach-kiwi-lime concoction in her hand when she went to answer the door. Seeing who it was caused the usual feeling of family and loss and excitement. "Oh! Hello, Loki. Won't you come in?"

This was probably as close to coming home as he would ever get again. It gave him a sharp little pang of sadness to contemplate that, but he sol smiled.
"Yes, thank you." Invited in, he entered the house, pausing awkwardly just inside the door. "Everything all right?"

Day 7
Day 7
But wait? What's that? Over in the ocean over there?
It's really way too cold and damp for anyone to be out in the ocean... unless that person happens to have grown up in the South Pole. Katara had been dumped here about twenty minutes ago and decided to take advantage of it by getting back in the habit of her waterboard!bending. She's having a grand ole time and hasn't seen that the beach now holds two.]
no subject
Hey, Katara!
[Aang feels really glad - because it looks like, for a change, Katara is really having fun.]
no subject
[She pauses on the water and then bends her way back towards him in a zig-zagging motion.] What brings you out here?

Eventually he comes back, but wearing something different. THIS.]

Then in walks Zuko with a fireman hat.
Huh. That's new.]
Where's the fire?
no subject
Huh?
[He looks puzzled. Is that supposed to be a new firebending joke or something?]
no subject
Fire. You know, because you're wearing a fireman's hat?

[sometime in the last 4 days] how did i miss this
A shout can probably bring him back down.]
idk, maybe it was hiding??
And oh - hey!]
Billy!!
[Of course, since he's in full regalia she should probably call him by his code name. She's never been very good at those.]
I mean - Wiccan!
or I'm blind as usual
And this girl... why is she so familiar? It's not the same kind of familiarity he'd get from a friend, more like seeing a celebrity on TV and then bumping into them on the street one day, out of costume and make-up. It's not quite right. Baffling, actually.
He lands nearby, eyes wide, trying to figure out her identity. Nothing's coming to mind, though.]
Uh... how do you know my name? ...I mean, who's Billy?
[...Smooth, Kaplan.]

Sometime in the last 4 days?
Like she's spent most of her time in Luceti since her arrival, she's in the coffee shop sipping at her latte and keeping a lookout for other familiar faces. For however strange this place is, it really is geek mecca.
no subject
In fact, Katara reached over to steal a sip of her sister's coffee. The house where she'd woken up hadn't had any, and she was in desperate need.
no subject
And a chance to steal that coffee back because, god, she's going to need this.
"Um, not to be rude but, I have no idea who you are."

On the last two days I think? Yes.
So Masaomi has been prince'd, teleported, and in a woman's body over the course of this event. Now he is back to normal (actually he's in a cross-canon AU but he doesn't know it) and he comes across Katara and, smiling and trying to keep with his resolve to be totally casual with her when possible, he slides on over with a -- ]
Hey, Katara!
[ As he's out and about on the town ]

[As far as Katara Bishop was concerned? They had dated a while and had a relatively amicable break-up a few years ago. She still enjoys his company.]
