events are made for me and you
Day 1
Ever wonder what Katara would be like if she was a ten year old who'd spend the last two years in Luceti? Now's your chance to find out!
Days the rest
In which Katara's personality is affected: The horrible depression that she hasn't been able to shake since Sokka left? Gone. She is suddenly much happier.
Oh, also. There's teleportation. And thought bubbles. She apologizes if she ends up with her hand on your tea.
The last 4 days
Katara grew up in New York, the younger sister of Kate Bishop. Unfortunately, she had these... powers. She's learning how to deal with them while trying to save the world, you know, as one does as a Young Avenger.

In fact, Katara reached over to steal a sip of her sister's coffee. The house where she'd woken up hadn't had any, and she was in desperate need.

And a chance to steal that coffee back because, god, she's going to need this.
"Um, not to be rude but, I have no idea who you are."

She cut herself off and shook her head. "Well, I guess it doesn't matter what I thought. It's obvious I was wrong." She glanced down at the stolen coffee mug. "Here -- you'll want this back. Or no, wait, better. I'll get you another."
Because why would her sister want to drink out of a stranger's cup? And getting Kate a new one gave Katara a chance to blink away the stinging in her eyes, and so she stood to do just that.

She reaches for the girl's wrist before she has a chance to walk too far away. "It's okay. Um, wait. Just a sec. Why don't you tell me who you are, first?"
no subject
"No, I think you'll need your coffee for that," she said, forcing herself to smile as she tried to tug her wrist free. She needed a minute just to get herself back together. "I just - I'll be right back."
no subject
"...okay."
But she's not taking her eye off the other girl as she goes to get that new cup of coffee.

That meant one of two things, really: she was wrong or everyone else was wrong.
Okay. Okay.
The way this place worked, Katara figured that gave her a 50/50 chance. She squared her shoulders, dashed the tears out of her eyes, and then returned to the table to sit across from Kate.
"Hi. Let's start over. I'm Katara."
