Oh, also. There's teleportation. And thought bubbles. She apologizes if she ends up with her hand on your tea.

Katara grew up in New York, the younger sister of Kate Bishop. Unfortunately, she had these... powers. She's learning how to deal with them while trying to save the world, you know, as one does as a Young Avenger.

He grinned, and returned the ice back to liquid with a little twist of his fingers. He could play this game too. "I meant for anything other than water bending. Well, and manual labor, I suppose, but I'm not all that interested in doing that again." He shrugged. "But my focus has been on nothing but water bending for over twenty years, you know."

Katara shrugged a little, awed despite herself. What would it be like to be able to spend that much time knowing the moves you practiced and experimenting with them? She'd been so hungry to learn waterbending for so long...

"I know, but -- you have a chance to discover other things that interest you here. I think you should try." She gave him a small smile, "At least get to know some people."

"I will try." No, he wasn't going to try at all. "I do go have tea in the tea shop sometimes, you know. And I will play pai sho." Very few people ever wanted to get near him because he looked very unapproachable when he wasn't playing a part. That was fine with him too.

"But I think it shall be good for me to pass on more of my knowledge to you."
