[On April 9th, Katara had been told that she was an "error," and doomed to die by a boy with the face of the man she loved. As you can imagine, the rest of the day was not spent cheerfully; rather after wandering about for some time, Katara returned home to make dinner and then quietly excused herself to write some letters, and then bend into the early morning hours.

On April 10th, the sun rose on a Katara who was entirely herself, and the sudden onslaught of memories drove her to her knees. In the early hours of the morning, she wept beside the river, feeling inside out and torn apart and lost... eventually she returned to her room in order to sleep the sleep of the deeply exhausted.

She did not wake until April 11th. This was another slow day, where she read the letters her other self had written and decided not to give them out, ended up seeking some unlikely advice, and generally stuck to her schedule, feeling... strange.

But today? Today she woke up feeling a little more like herself. It was a Thursday, which meant meeting Nami for bo practice after school (which she... finally got back to attending, sorry Professor) and then made dinner. She may glance through the journal a bit more than normal; she may even contemplate attempting to contact someone, and... eventually, she does make two locked posts:]

Hey. I know you'll probably say you're fine, but I just wanted to ask how you were doing.

[Later that evening, she'll be practicing by the river, under the light of a waning moon.]

[Aang remained cautious after his conversation with Masaomi. His worries increased when hours passed without any sign of her. And when she did finally show up for dinner... he could tell something was definitely wrong.

So it was that Aang eventually went along the river until he found her.]

Don't mind her if her usual awareness of her surroundings is a little down.]

[She didn't notice him coming. Something was definitely wrong. He felt a growing weight on his heart. Was this a good time? But he remembered their conversation this morning and Masaomi's words to him. He... had to give it a try.]

Katara?

[Sokka saw Katara on the ninth, before she saw Masaomi. When he realized she was still affected, he said nothing and privately reported her on his own. Masaomi too, as he figured they'd both been missed. That evening, during dinner, he could tell she was upset. But he gave her space. He'd talk to her tomorrow.

On the tenth, he missed her altogether. He returned from his training to find her already gone. When he stopped back in during lunch, she was asleep again. Needless to say, he was worried.

Which is why today, Sokka sent a message to Souji that he would be skipping his training. In the kitchen, at the table, he waited for her to wake up. He had his alchemy books set out there, half-finished breakfast, and a cup of tea to sip.]

[Katara feels even more dead this morning than she does most mornings. But she eventually makes her way into the kitchen to have some cereal.]

Morning... There's some bacon left, if you want. [He knows how to make his meat. And today, his breakfast was bacon. And also some fruit. But mostly bacon.]

[It's the first time Nami has been excluded from an experiment such as this, and while she is happy for it, she's less sure how to deal with people afterwards. She's not even sure Katara will show for staff practice, given their conversation on the bridge-- but she's waiting anyway, the climatact broken down into its separate parts, one piece turned idly between her fingers.]

[She's a little surprised to see you, their bridge conversation ages away from her mind.]

...Mind if I step in? I have some apologies to make. It's just desperate and sad if I make them on the doorstep.

[Sometime during the day, Suki will track Katara down to check on her- preferably in her room, but she'll take what she can get. She'd tried to stay out of the way and let her grieve, with how upset the other girl had been, but she doesn't like the idea of avoiding these issues, and... well, whatever happened, she's pretty sure Katara needs someone right now. She may not be true family yet, but she's going to try to do her best as a future sister.]

Katara...?

Katara's sitting on the floor, plucking at her koto.]

[Suki opens the door to poke her head in, offering a small smile.]

[Honestly, he's not used to privated messages that don't include something about a villain or anything of the sort; it's been a long while since those sorts of filters, so this is somethin' else. And from someone he didn't hear from in this way often. Er. Ever, even.]
